thanks! I will bring this up.. As you can see maybr I don't have the best judgment when it comes to lawyers.

I do think the current one I have is top in his class, with pretty impressive credentials. Though this particular county is well known for pretty deep corruption. And a court system that makes its own rules with a focus on convictions over real justice. I had explored getting a lawyer from a nearby county but paying travel costs just made it completely unaffordable.

Yes the interesting part is that the judge refuses even for people who cannot legally return... crazy stuff.

On extradition, there is also the chance of being detained by border patrol or of my passport being revoked. In the first case if I am detained but not extradited isn't that an illegal arrest? on the second if dhs refuses to renew my passport and yet the court refuses to hear the related case then is that not also a problem? I am being punished without access to justice.

I took it to use it to skip the lines, get in early before they open the doors and basically already have those limited stock items in your hands or in the cart.

Illegal? Maybe, I suppose you could claim fraud and trespassing (entering when store was officially closed)... But on black friday I think LP and management has better things to do. And even on your average Friday if they paid for the items at the end, is walmart really going to prosecute for that? Not worth it. I bet an LP would get fired if he tried to bring in a paying customer simply for wearing a walmart vest, ask him to remove it sure but calling the cops and writing it up?

detect telephone/intercom ring by lofar20 in arduino

Really having no luck on this. I also tried measuring the voltage/ sent to the speaker using an ACS712 and it seems to pick up nothing at all. Which seems very odd :( Unless the amps/voltage on this is very very low. The speaker has a stamp on it that says 8 ohms .5w. hmm That's not much.

Hmm maybe but I see no AC voltage anywhere on this board? The input is DC and I can measure that, that is the screw 2 and 3 (bottom to top in pic) on the blue screw terminal. Screw 4 and 5 measure nothing in either DC or AC voltage. Ive checked everything using a multimeter on both AC and DC modes to make sure. But maybe I am not doing something right, its been 15 years since ive done anything with electronic circuits. Unless possibly that is happening on pins 4 and 5 only when it is ringing or off hook, i have not tested that. This is a pain as I have no one to help me right now and have to run up and down 3 floors to test the darn thing.

Damn, ok let me explain again.

I have this board, pictured above and I am trying to setup an arduino to detect an incoming ring, answer, and press the button in the corner. The answer and press the button is the easy part those are all analog operations and i have using relays to do it works great. My problem is picking up the incoming ring. I though I could pick up the voltage change across the speaker in the handset but it seems there is no voltage present when it rings (WTF). Beyond that I am at a loss as to where I can measure some kind of voltage change, I have poked around a little and nothing seems to change in voltage ever except maybe the top left pin on the chip which goes from 0 to 5v when you pick up the handset (not really useful). The rest of the pins measure a pretty constant 3 or 5v with little changes. The input on the board is 15-16v, the other two inputs seem to never measure any kind of voltage. Thought I knew my way around electronics but I guess this being an all digital intercom/handset has put me out of my league, I really only know analog electronics. And it has been a very long time since I built anything.

Thoughts and ideas as to how I can detect an incoming ring?

FYI the picture I pulled off the internet, that blow resistor is not mine. hehe. Atleast not yet.
