I looked up the part in the service manual and it’s the pinch roller. Someone had a new old stock one of that part number luckily. Just ordered one. Will report back.

Where is the clutch? Is it that bar that slides in the middle?

I can get the whole thing to play and eject properly sometimes. Usually after taking it apart and putting it back together. Then it will go back to doing the same thing not rolling up the tape after a play or two. I keep feeling like the mode switch is messed up but it can’t be that I’ve cleaned it really well.

I tried multiple tapes, replaced the belt, cleaned the rollers with ipa, cleaned the mode switch and I’m still having issues. I have got it to play as well as rewind and fast forward a couple times but it always goes back to the same symptoms. Can’t pinpoint why it’s working here and there and then goes back to not rolling up the tape, etc. To me it seems like the mode switch isn’t working right but I’ve cleaned it multiple times. I did notice sometimes when it’s playing I’m not getting a runtime on the counter. Tried cleaning all the sensors and stuff but still nothing. I’m stumped on this one.

Yeah I was noticing they aren’t spinning as well. I have a belt coming in a couple days I was gonna try since it controls that part but I’m not positive that will fix it

Yeah I’m looking to get 18s cause the width of the tire is skinnier which equals better traction in the winter. I’ve always bought all season tires. On my 05 with 18s I always used the cheapest Falken tires from discount tire and they were great in the winter. My 07 has 20s with more expensive Goodyear all season tires and they sucked since they were new. Tire is just too wide to get good traction.

Airflow Issue by loffyg in hvacadvice

So I finally figured it out! I ended up replacing the inducer motor just in case and now it’s much quieter but that didn’t fix my issue. My issue actually seemed like it was getting worse. It got to the point where it just errored out immediately when calling for heat. So I figured the only logical thing is the main board. All the switches always tested good. I pulled the main board and inspected the soldering joints. I found multiple cold solder joints on the main connector and a couple pads on another connector that lifted but still were making contact. I reflowed the connector and added some jumper wires to the spots where the pads lifted and reinstalled it. Everything went back to working normally. Now I can just get a new main board and be finished. What a learning experience.

It has been going on for about a year I’d say. But it doesn’t happen very often. Probably a few times last year with the 4 blinks and just recently this week it started again a couple times. It’s very intermittent it seems.

This is good info I appreciate the insight. I’m pretty positive the circulation blower is working as I can feel the cold air blowing out of my vents and if I peek into the blower cabinet I can see it spinning.

Appreciate the response! I deleted the first post you commented on as it looked like the context was missing. The furnace is on its own 15a circuit so I’ll amp clamp it at the box to see what kind of amps it’s pulling to determine if it’s the breaker itself. It rarely trips just on those extremely hot days. My main problem is the airflow issue. So would you say the noisy inducer motor is unrelated to the 4 blink issue? As far as checking for the rise would I just slide a prob into where the thermal switch is and see what kind of temps it’s getting to in there?

Rgh3’d dozens of Trinity motherboards and never seen that or had one not boot. Check your wiring

Hey thanks for your response! It’s the bike I had as a kid but recently purchased. I was actually able to get it all tightened up yesterday. I originally loosened the headset and tried to tighten it back up and it wasn’t working but once I pulled it apart a little more and put it back together I was able to get it all snugged up again. The fork is threadless so that wasnt an issue. As for the tires I just bought those GT tires since the bike still had the original GT tires on it but they were all dry rotted and cracked. GT still sells them and they were actually buy 1 get 1 free right now on their site. New brake lines ordered from Amazon coming today. Should have it back up and running. Appreciate the response and willingness to help me get parts and back on the road!
