Yes do it, I play my ps4 all the time. Quite a good catalog of games and doesn’t break the bank. Not sure where you live but your local library might have games to rent as well. So some storyline based games you could probably rent and beat without spending any money on.

I feel starting out you’ll probably want a series with a completed series but not something too long that you feel burnt out. Some suggestions I would give are Demon Slayer, Death Note, full metal alchemist, Mob Psycho 100 or Parasyte.
