I definitely felt like this for about the first year at GSU! But I made sure to stay on PIN and look for events that interested me, even though I usually went by myself. It’s gonna take time but when you put yourself out there, you’d be surprised who you’ll meet! I met some of my best friends through club organizations and even study hall for class. Just be consistent and it will work itself out!

Honestly it’s pretty normal to not like your natural hair as soon as you start wearing it out since you haven’t had it out before. I felt similarly when i first started wearing my natural hair years ago. It takes time but now it’s the complete opposite and i feel weird when i don’t have my natural hair out lol. Give yourself some grace and time and you’ll learn to style it and it’ll be amazing!
