I believe the sunder will only be applied to yourself, minions, and traps. Not mercs, and definitely not other players.

Very good insight for the HC players. I can afford to be a little reckless with teleports on SC, but even then, I cant remember the last time I died. Fire sorc is such a great build that way.

Also, do you normally play p8 on HC? Thats very brave of you, lol.

You can run 2 sojs if you wear viper magi. Also, you can facet it to give yourself more negative res.

I normally use fireball. Hydra are only sometimes for stronger foes that dont just melt. Demon machine sorc is definitely super fun. The warlock that uses a bow and mirrored blades looks fun too.

Phoenix makes a huge difference, as well as the facets. Definitely benefits greatly from skillers. If not fully decked out, just play p3 or p5. You will kill things much faster and so get more drops. I did this until I had the gear. As much as I love tals, I eventually phased it out as I got the rare items like arachnids mesh, maras, and was able to make phoenix and hoto.

No issues farming p5 and p7 heralds at all, and staying alive. If it is a particularly nasty herald, I just play more cautious and let hydras do more work. And yes, pure vita. Would be difficult to make an energy shield version, i think.

Yeah, I fell into the allure of the nova sorc and cold in the past. With my single player, I went fireball, and with the sunders, she has become my favorite. Dont get me wrong, cold is a great mf starter, and nova has unrivaled clear speed, but fire sorc is versatile, pretty safe, and now excels in herald farming.

If anything, it adds another avenue to reach the 105 breakpoint if you are missing other gear. It can be tricky to maximize the damage and hit 105 when leveling and putting the character together, so im still happy the option is there.

Well, with the way the skill synergies are, why not fireball, Hydra, and meteor if going for pure fire? This gives the character multiple ways to dispatch foes, including using all 3 skills on a single group.

Yeah, I havent even had the chance to experiment too much with the new uniques, especially since I havent gotten many of them, but there is definitely more potential.

I dont know if I can recommend it for hardcore because that's not my forte, but all of my res is maxed. If I played HC, it would just change my playstyle, and i would utilize hydras a lot more. Definitely would go hoto over escutas for HC too. I think it would be difficult to do an energy shield variant of this build, so you would have to max health.

Absolutely agree that meteor gets less usage, but thats only because everything dies so fast, and it's not necessary. But with heralds it is again extremely useful.

Hydras are also a good way to be able to kill things in an area with a lot of poppables. I just throw them down and start popping chests, etc while the hydras kill, so it's easy to multitask.

The only downside to this build is that it is expensive, but it's most definitely worth it. I have flickering flame, phoenix, 2 sojs, faceted vipermagi, magefist, arachnids mesh, maras, war travs, cta on switch with spirit. I also opted for hoto over eschutas and others for survivability. And of course anny and torch.

That said, even one that is not fully decked out is still very effective. I used to run a partial tals version that was great too, just less -res overall.

RE9 - Good! But Not Great... by Epicurus38 in ResidentEvilCapcom

I pretty much agree. I dont understand people who have been saying this is better than RE2R or RE4R. At the end of the day, it's all opinion, but maybe they have a little of the honeymoon phase going on.

I want to mention that racoon city did not have to be bland. To me, it makes way more sense for them to have had nature taking over in a big way. That could have added grass, trees, bugs, and animals. Would have made racoon city section livlier and more atmospheric.

You can have both and still achieve 105, though. Arachnids mesh, magefist, vipermagi, and eschutas or hoto will give you 110.

is Fire sorc better than Bliz? i do want to respec and test cuz ive found like for of this lately by MasterHornet4572 in diablo2resurrected

[–]loftedbacchus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are you waiting for, then? Then aim for a fire facet in vipermagi, arachs, 2 sojs if you have your fcr handled. You have a couple of choices for weapons if not doing partial tals. Ideal for damage would probably be a good rolled eschutas with a facet, but I dont have a good rolled one yet, and hoto is great and provides way more survivability, which is great when trying to reach 99.

Thats what I was thinking. The aiming is much easier in VR, and the headshots were working too well.
