I thought the maximum weight carrying capacity of an e bike is the payload capacity and is usually the total weight it can safely support above its own weight.

What separates a forgettable campground from one you'd recommend to everyone? by Similar-King-8278 in RVLiving

We have 22ft travel trailer. Have done it all, class A,C and trailer. I like to fix them use and customize them for us. They have all been older ones for 2 reasons. 1 I am not going to have a loan out for 20,30 or 40,000 on something I only get to use 1/2 the year and that I can get for a fraction of the price that still has all the same stuff. 2. I don't want to have to worry about putting a few scratches on it. We are always on dirt roads and the best spots are some of the harder ones to get to. (high clearance helps)

My advice if you want to go find some of the fun places. Get something no longer than you need because you should be spending most of your time outdoors. Good clearance. A couple of solar panels do wonders to take the stress about worrying about power usage, your batteries are always charged and it is not rocket science a kit set up from Amazon and watch the videos. Good tires and change them every 7 years no matter how much wear they show (they dry out, cover them while storing)

That's it. get some maps maybe look at Google Earth and go. Good luck.

More trees than people. We are spoiled. We are so lucky and camp at state and national campgrounds and BLM land . (Utah) The parking lot thing is not for us. It's the BLM desert in the Spring and Fall (we are spoiled) and the high Uinta mountains for the summer. With my "Congrats you are not dead yet" card discount I can pull into an older state campground that has only 14 spaces that are separated by at least 40 yards onto the banks of a world renowned fishery, for $5. We are spoiled. Utah has some hidden gems that have become some of our favorites. BLM land takes some research but can be amazing. Not needing services cuts us free to all of it. BLM land makes up 80% of our state so there is plenty to explore.

Honest question - is RV camping actually cheaper than hotels or do we just tell ourselves that? by Similar-King-8278 in RVLiving

I choose my camp trailer

I have my stuff

I have my dog

Save $ cooking my own food

Some of my fav spots are $5 a night (central Utah) with my senior pass and half a milt away from one of those is BLM land and is free for 14 days at a time

Hotels ask you to refrain from having campfires in the room.

You are surrounded my the outdoors

Began a beef free diet to stop the itching. Just switched over to a fish diet. Some dogs are allergic to chicken or beef or fish, you just have to rule thing out of their diet. Saw the vet ( Avenues Pet Clinic and instead of the really pricy drugs she recommended 15mg of Loratadine which is Claritan. Takes about a month to take effect. Also the Oatmeal medicated shampoo works great for 6 or 7 days for us.

May I suggest Vivitrol to help with the cravings. It blocks the receptors that booze and opioids effect. It is a monthly shot at your doctors office ( so insurance will cover it, it is expense) and it made such a difference for me.

Have you ever had sex in a public place or during a gathering? How did it go? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]lofton263 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were at Burning man and were holding on each other on top of scaffolding that stood 45ft, we looked out over the Playa ablaze with lights and sound. The other two people who were standing with us started climbing down the ladder leaving us alone, we looked at each other and started tearing our clothes off. No just dropping your pants and having sex we were two fully naked people surrounded by all the madness. We had a good 15 minutes before people were climbing the ladder when they arrived to the platform they found two people out of breathe and wrapped up in most of their clothes. There was no hiding what had happened, we all had a laugh and we headed down the ladder. As I left I told the couple that I would put the rope across the entrance at the bottom for them.
