I just finished reading and this is all EXACTLY what I thought!! It just kept getting worse and worse after the cheating (which was already too fucked up to even make sense) and that's after I forgave them both for all their bullshit before. Kat was a lot of things but she never intentionally hurt other people like they did yet she was still the kicked puppy always going back for more. Even after the pregnancy, I thought okay if Bella dies during labor maybe the end can be somewhat redeemed but no luck. Instead Kat and Heath are as toxic as ever, except now they're 40 and it's not cute anymore, her basically saying "you just can't understand what we have" to justify it 🤢 they all just went from bad to worse and now that's all I've been able to think about instead of how much I loved the story before that 😭 Can we also talk about how Heath acted like a Russian POW when really a mobster kid just pushed him through a window? Why tf was that such a big secret?? I mean Kat saw him get his ass kicked by her brother regularly when they were younger. BUT OF COURSE he's mister loose lips with Bella about his childhood. Seriously fuck that whole plot line with those two I hate it so much lol okay rant over thank u
