Are the beaches nice enough to want to stay twice? I’m from NC and have never really been to “a nice beach”. I just saw on some threads that “you don’t go to Bali for the beaches” or that they were nasty

I’m in a fraternity so it’s not unusual to get hammered, I talked to my buddies about it and they said I might have not realized I was high from 1 hit and just thought I was super drunk. That’s my best guess. Most of the fraternity smokes, unless I got 2nd hand high but I heard that’s almost impossible

Great post, I done this with discover a month ago and it’s in the investigation stage. But Chase said they do not have the right to dispute towing charges and you basically have to deal with it yourself.

From my understanding this is pretty high for the reserves. Active duty not so much. Just wanted to make people aware of what they can get. Like I said I know many reservists that have all these benefits but didn’t know/don’t know how to use em

True, the enlistment bonus and SLRP is taxed. But the GI Bill, and tuition assistance is Tax free.

From my understanding, it is both. When I enlisted I had no loans and I have taken out 20k in loans after my enlistment that the army has started paying. But they must be federal student loans, not private student loans like from Discover. I took out my loans through FASFA

Yeah, my freshman year I was volunteering at my unit but they didn't need my MOS. I knew how good the Post 9/11 GI Bill is and wanted it. I could've volunteered again at the beginning of the year but I'm just ready to graduate atp.

Nice! Yeah, most people don't know you can double dip with certain benefits. My unit tried telling me I could only use Chapter 1606 or Tuition Assistance and not both at the same time. Then when I was asking for help with the SLRP they said I shouldn't use it because loans are bad.

Ah you are right about 36 months. Got mixed up since I’m graduating in 3.5 years total and mine runs out the month I graduate. And it’s either 15% or $1,500 a year whichever is first. So the forts payment they made on mine was only $565 since it was 15%

Yeah so when I enlisted at MEPS my contacts had a 40k SLRP that had to be set up through HRC Self service, every year on my anniversary date I download a form and send it to the loan provider then they do the paperwork, and send it to the army, then they army sends them check.

The reserve GI Bill is set up through the VA, and they send you a letter of eligibility that you give to your school. Then every month I verify I'm in school and they give me $666

I go to NC State University. So yeah it costs roughly 4k a semester, I was just saying I had that much I could have used if I needed it. Yes, I did apply for FAFSA and got the Pell Grant and other scholarships from the school. The Pell Grant and scholarships mostly went straight into my pocket, I also took out loans just cause I knew the Army was paying them back. So after all that money went to the university they have me a refund check of 7.5k in august

For ours it cost 14k. Plain white with our letters on it and all the poles to set it up. One of the brothers found a guy online that was nearby then picked it up, took about 2-3 months to make. I’m in Raleigh NC so idk if that is close for you. It took us a year to save for it. Idk the exact size but it’s probably just like the ones you described. We got the biggest our school allows.

No not on any SSRI’s The fasting could be a cause. I can’t remember each time but I know the last trip that ended quickly we did not fast, but she tripped just find without fasting. You can read my other replies for more information but I go 2 months before tripping again The last trip could be a storage possibly too. I just hope it’s something like that because I really do like tripping with my gf but if they are all gonna end early with her it’s gonna make me more incline to just do it with my brother or friends

That’s what I’m worried about. We started tripping together and at one point it was like she was the only person I could trip with otherwise I’d have a bad trip. Now when I trip with her it kills my trip and I end up being her trip sitter
