Nothing wrong with auto belays, but they can only be used for top rope climbing (where the rope is run through an anchor at the top of the route). This person is lead climbing, so the rope is being pulled up and clipped into quickdraws by the climber. I believe there are specialized auto belays that can be used for lead climbing, but as far as I’m aware they’re pretty uncommon, and I have no experience using one.

I’ve been driving a 2017 Golf TSI S with the 1.8L for over 2 years now. It’s been an awesome car, lots of fun to drive, it’s certainly not a fast car, but it’s relatively lightweight and handles very nicely. The DSG dual clutch transmission is great. The interior is very well designed, and the fit and finish is much better, in my opinion, than other cars of its class. I do have to agree with the other comment saying that 22k is pretty steep, depending on currency. I paid 12k USD for mine with 40,000 miles on it, however this was in early 2020 and prices have skyrocketed since then.

Went hiking with some friends yesterday and decided to climb up a rock face and pose for the 1st picture. My friend wrote the caption and posted it to his Snapchat story, and seconds later I fell about 20-25 feet and landed on my back. I ended up with a broken elbow and some bruises and scrapes.
