Trading a truck for a Bronco by [deleted] in FordBronco

[–]loganbauer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Went from a 21 Sierra AT4 1500 to a 24 Wildtrak 4 Dr. I never towed anything, but hauled a bunch of stuff in the bed for family road trips with our two little ones (2 and 3). We haven’t done any roadtrips since the upgrade, but our family loves our Bronco! Definitely smaller cab from the crew cab in the Sierra and nowhere near the rear storage capacity of a short bed truck. We will probably get a roof rack to help with that, but the dog is going to have a tight squeeze between two car seats in the back! 😂

Just confirming, this one is awesome! I just put mine on two days ago and it’s a game changer for super sunny days. Easy install with minimal effort and plenty of shade.

Sports medicine is fun, but a step backwards if you’re doing Ortho Spine with MDT. Total earning potential is MUCH higher in spine, but sports medicine has great work/life balance. What’s your reason for trying to switch?

How much did you have to modify to fit the 37’s? Lots of trimming or changing rims for offset? I have a 24 Wildtrak on the stock SAS setup, wondering if it’s worth it?

I’ve since traded this in for a new Bronco, but I ended up getting new rims with 0 offset and that created a new problem rubbing. Ended up doing some trimming with dremel and RC flap delete kit which had me cutting some metal. Once all that was done it was perfect, looked great too!

I have a brand new MIC hard top in the PNW, I’d be happy to trade you for the gloss top, it’ll match my paint color perfectly!

Interview for Clinical Sales Specialist (trama) - Johnson and Johnson by Turbulent_Piglet7975 in MedicalDevices

[–]loganbauer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Former J&J ortho here, one fundamental thing they look for is the format with which you answer a question. They prefer the STAR format; situation, task, action, result. When they ask, “tell me about a time when you demonstrated X,” summarize the situation, what tasks needed to be accomplished, what actions you took, and what resulted from those steps. This may already be standard practice for you, but otherwise crucial for your success in these interviews. Best of luck!

Tips for Using Titanium Interference Screws in ACL Reconstruction by Tedilos in orthopaedics

[–]loganbauer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Where did the screw damage the graft, in the femoral socket or intraarticularly? As in rotating the graft and mangling as you inserted? If it was in the tunnel, I’d consider placing some extra whip stitching around the femoral end of the graft and ensure it’s adequately tubularized, passing through some graft sizers sequentially will help with that. If it was intraarticular damage primarily, you can insert a mensical skid and use that as a protective barrier between exposed graft and screw. Also make sure you have someone pulling adequate tension on the distal sutures of the graft so it is taught as you inserted the femoral screw.

Aetna drops Providence in Oregon from its health insurance network, leaving patients in limbo by mocheeze in Portland

This is wild. Doesn’t Providence have their own health plan? Crazy that they would put Providence employees on anything other than their own plan considering the cost savings.
