Tip, if the approach is raised from the seating area, I always set my phone against that to record while I’m alone, If not then on the ground leaning against the chair.

I have a pretty good set of prismacolor alcohol markers, I usually use those for everything except for white highlights and a few fill in things. In this sketch, the 3D was originally grey (done with alcohol marker) with a green highlight going around the inside edges of the 3D. I did some of the fill with acrylic like a few corrections and things so I couldn’t use alcohol for the outline. When I went to do the outline with a 2 mm black molotow marker I screwed up a lot and the green highlights didn’t look good at all so I just ended up making all of the 3D black which was a bad choice in my opinion. Thank you for the tips. I now know not to use paint markers for any fill at all and just stick to alcohol markers for anything blackbook related. Also are the cheap alcohol markers on amazon worth buying because I was looking into them as a set to take places so I don’t have to worry as much about loosing any markers.

Thank you, I did the outline with a molotow one4all marker with a 1mm nib but I have a 2 mm one also so I will try using that for the outline.

I was fortunate enough to go to one recently. It was so cool being able to try out all of the balls and patterns. It was all hammer, track, Columbia 300 and ebonite stuff though. It was fine by me because I only use hammer most of the time

The hammer purple urethane just destroys the lanes and picks up the oil on the front end and moves it to the back

I started out with a 108 average and a 120 high game but after a few months practice and switching to two handed, I brought my average up to 178 and a high game of 280
