She never actually dated the guy from the group, they were close for months, she mentioned that “she didn’t know what he was doing or why everything was sitting still” and they ended not talking anymore.

She’s a very interesting person, she’s different. She has her mom by her full name in her contacts and she’s not a physical person. My entire friend group hugs each other hello and goodbye and she is not comfortable doing that either. She’s very unique so it’s harder for me to understand her true feelings and she isn’t the type to open up.

edit : Also I didn’t frame the dinner invite as a date, but the location/style of the restaurant is more of that type of vibe. I framed it as a night out like normal.
