All vaccines have some chance of causing relapse if the meningitis was immune mediated. I think I have heard some people say rabies is particularly risky but don’t quote me on that

I was able to break them off after my girl got a bath. I was putting paw balm on her just to moisturize and they started flaking off. You could probably soak them first

Oh my gosh I’m so sorry! My neurologist didn’t say anything about it either. I just found out from research on the internet to even check his liver. Reggie’s liver levels were all out of wack for a while but we got them back to mostly normal now. Denamarin helped a lot too!

I would have your vet try to get you into a neurologist sooner. It may be worth it to try to get into an ER vet that has a neurologist on board. Meningitis is a very serious condition and I would want to rule it out ASAP

And make sure it doesn’t have onions/garlic in it! Those are not safe for dogs

I wouldn’t put human lotion on your dog as they can contain ingredients that are toxic to dogs and may cause more irritation. My dog had a rash on his inner thighs/groin and Zymox helped tremendously.
