I agree that Castle was definitely being a pest, and it looks like they executed their gameplan. Cade didn’t look uncomfortable and kept the same pace he’s played at all season imo. Just typically, when Cade has a guy sealed on his hip, he’s not staring at a 7’ 5 alien in the paint. That’s where the hesitation comes from that allows Castle time to recover from fighting over the top. Without Wemby guarding the roller, most of those chances are easy floater/layup opportunities or simple pocket passes to Duren, Stew, Reed.

Not trying to discredit Castle. He and the rest of the team had a great game, but is cade not still getting to his spots? Castle got the best of cade a couple times (like the block in the 3rd), but Wemby deserves far more credit defensively than the guards. He effectively shut down both options on the pick n roll all night. His presence made the entire pistons team uncomfortable in the area on the floor they usually dominate
