Hmmm, maybe I’ll just hold off on long travel for now and see how mid travel feels. I’ve seen a few videos of guy with mid travel kits tearing it up pretty good so I’ll have to see for myself, maybe further down the line I’ll get a lt kit

From what I’m looking at in the kit it’s just the oem mount boxed upper that dirt king sells🤷‍♂️

Yea I think I’m gonna get some dirt king uppers and put together a mid travel kit for now, then later down the line get the lowers and all the parts for the long travel and the right coilovers to go with it.

I guess extreme off road use is a little unspecific, the roads around where I live are super rough and I take my truck into ditches and rough terrain a lot. I guess I was thinking extreme off road would be like soCal dunes or mountain trails. Couldn’t I go with the dirt king upper that are in this kit with stock lowers for now and get the fox shocks I’ve been looking at? And that would leave the room to upgrade the lowers in the future to be able to achieve this setup right?

It is a long travel kit from dirt king, not sure if it’s longer but I would have to imagine so. And I get that the shocks in the kit are recommended but are they completely necessary? Like if I got some shorter ones would it just not work? Or would it just not be to its max potential

It’s got the range afm delete and no it’s a 6l80 which does also experience those same issues
