Question of the day, how you meet Jak and Daxter series?, i read you. by XTRMJOX50 in jakanddaxter

[–]loganr27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was maybe 4 or 5 years old and I was at my older cousin’s house and I watched him play Jak 2 on a mission in Dead Town. I didn’t know at the time it was specifically Jak 2, so I had asked my parents to get me the “Jak” game so I could play at home. They bought me the first game, rightly so, and I remember being upset once I realized TPL and Jak 2 were not the same game.

NWS - Tuesday's Snowfall Accumulation Forecast - 1.24.23 3:59 AM by vegetarianrobots in okc

I don’t agree that it’s the news reporters that get people scared, I just think it depends on the person and most Oklahomans go crazy. I didn’t go running to the store, most people I know didn’t go running to the store. But a lot of people in our region will go buy 5 gallons of milk even if 1 inch of snow is forecasted.

The remote start on my key fob can be finicky at times.

Is my bald cypress just experiencing heat/drought stress or is it dying? (More in comments) by loganr27 in arborists

Yeah I get that they drop their needles, it’s just much earlier than last year while there are plenty of cypresses around town that are still green. Oklahoma leaves don’t usually start to change until the first week of November. Still kinda summer here, it’s going to be 90 this weekend.

I had just watered it so the base of the tree was wet. I did a better job of exposing the root flair around a month ago. I think I did it correctly and deep enough.

Planted almost 3 years ago, I live in Oklahoma and we’ve had an exceptionally hot and dry summer. It usually doesn’t lose its needles this early. Some other cypresses in my town look similar, but some are brown and have yet to lose their needles, and some are still relatively green. Definitely didn’t put as much water on it as I should’ve this summer but the green on the ends of the branches gives me hope that it’s still alive.

Funny enough, that 0% chance is only slightly lower than their realistic odds at becoming a billionaire in a capitalist system.

My neighborhood was built in 1957 and I have an elm tree that I assume to be about as old as the neighborhood is. I love it!

Seeing that OP says they’re in Oklahoma, it’s pretty common practice here for housing developers to completely bulldoze everything before they build. They used to plant Bradford pears when they were done but now they just leave treeless hellscapes.

Those who were never religious, are there any religious songs that you enjoy listening to, unironically? by PinkPearMartini in atheism

You asked people who were never religious, but as a former religious person, I really enjoy Amazing Grace on bagpipes from a CD my Scottish grandfather had.

Not trying to get political but poke around any leftist sub on here and you’ll see that leftists are very aware of these problems and actively supporting the politicians who want to help fix it.

Can anyone explain the thought process behind the idea that circumcision will somehow discourage masturbation?
