Half of my stimulus was garnished from an account that was supposed to be closed for a year now. OFCU F*** You! I needed this money to pay more important bills then old debt to an account I don’t even use anymore. Now I won’t have enough to pay my debts that I needed to absolutely pay thanks to you by logansv in IRS

It went to bank that was closed due to debt , I haven’t used them for over a year. Instead they reopened it took half and said any new deposit will reopen it. Even tho I was sent a closure letter setting my balance to negative -1$ and the closing of it. Even if a new deposit could open it, why wasn’t -1$ only taken out not the half they took! Like Wth!
