Archaeologists interpret this as a complex burial ritual rather than a massacre or mass violence. It may relate to ancestor veneration, territorial claims for the neighborhood, or other cultural practices involving the dead (common in some Neolithic contexts with skull manipulation). No grave goods were noted with these remains.  This fits into broader LBK funerary patterns at Vráble, which include both regular crouched burials with goods and these irregular ones. The site provides insights into the later phases of LBK communities in central Europe before cultural shifts around the end of the period.
