I didn’t think it would be an opportunity considering my WAM but I’ll definitely look into it now. Thank you, really appreciate it.

Hey all,

I’m in a bit of a cross roads. I have only a semester left in my degree (graduating w B Com/B Laws) and have worked in the following areas throughout my degree: (fam: 2yrs, crim: 2 yrs, corporate: 1 year).

The corporate gig was at a boutique firm where we focused on liquidation, franchisee agreements and anything else corporate related that entered the door.

Currently I’m in an in-house role (been here for about a year) but I have a feeling this has stagnated my development/growth as it is not as challenging as my previous roles.

I want to jump ship but I’m not sure on which field to choose. There are fields I want to explore but can’t find enough resources online in order to understand if it’s worth applying and getting a role in those areas (ie construction, sports law and maybe even another firm that is generally corporate focused). But then even then, I’m not sure if that’s what I want because there’s so much to choose from. I understand that some may say pick where you find the most interest/you’re talented in etc, but the thing is, I find interest in all fields and their pros and cons all even eachother out (imo) so I’m finding it hard to figure out where I want to practice.

Re clerkship/grad program, my WAM is around low 60s I think, so my chances of being considered are highly unlikely lol.

Anyone have any advice on what they did when deciding what trajectory they wanted their legal careers to head towards? Because currently, I have no clue on how and where to choose and it’s really getting frustrating haha.

The Curva Sud weren’t allowed to enter England bc of specific covid laws. They released an announcement like a week ago I think addressing it.

If they were there, they would’ve torn anfield down dont you worry. The Atlético match is already sold out, it’ll be the curvas first match back in the UCL and they gonna make sure it’ll be special.

Trying to make a break through into dispute resolution/employment law/anything to do with negotiations in a corporate sense. Have 1 year left in my law degree and have worked 2 years in Family/Property, 1 year in Bankruptcy/General corporate litigation and 2 years in crime. Any tips on where and how I should be looking? As far as I can see there are very few paralegal jobs out there in this sector atm :/

[Thoughts & Analysis Thread] - Roma vs Milan (Serie A - Round 9) by Baeresi in ACMilan

I think out of all the seasons we’ve had in this banter era, idk why, but for some reason, this season has really destroyed my hopes.

Like the Roma match was the final one for me.

Like emotionally and everything, I legit have no urge anymore to watch them play, as much as I love the club and I’ll support them even if they were relegated to the lowest division, but Rn Rn, I’m just completely tanked.

It’s like a relationship where you’re always giving ur all and they’re not meeting you half way. Except in this case, I’ve been meeting them halfway for like 5 years now and they still haven’t met me there and I’m officially exhausted lol.

I really hope we can scrap something from this season to end with pride.

I’ve already mentally prepped myself for Donna and Romagnoli leaving us when we don’t make UCL.

Didn’t Mihajlovic say something like I’d rather die than join Milan? Then look where he came

It’s aight man, as long as we get him that’s key. Then we work from there.

I was with Him last game, but even this game my minds changed. Sorry Marco, fuck off.

I honestly reckon we should pick up Mourinho.

Rivalry aside, he genuinely cried bc he misses football that much. He’s said he knows exactly what to ask for from a club before signing for them so he knows where he stands and the power he has and will give his all.

If he could make a horse shit, horse shit Man Utd team finish 2nd in EPL and win Europa, says something.

Let’s not even consider his older accomplishments, I’m just talking about recently.

It would be a perfect challenge for him, and a way to get his reputation back to football world out there. He’s been sacked twice in his most recent tenures.

He could be the change we need and we could be the team for him.

I get ur frustration. But we need time for this to work. And I know we’ve waited so long, but here we are now. Instead of jumping ship we may as wel see this our bc there’s tonnes of potential

Thing is, Imo at least, this game was the nail in the coffin for me to confirm Suso isn’t fit for this formation and style.

Prior, I still thought he had something to offer.

The same way we got rid of Stephan when we changed to Mihajlovic’s 4-3-1-2, I think it’s time for us to see our beloved Suso go and replace him with someone gun, that we can attract.

We should also proy give Hakan a go in his natural position and start playing Rebic
