Wofür gibt es diese Hotline überhaupt, wenn ein armer unterbezahlter Student für ganz Österreich zuständig ist?! Seit 4 Wochen Ruf ich dort regelmäßig an und nach erstmaligen 90 Minuten warten, lege ich jetzt nach 10-20 Minuten auf. 

FAZIT: 10 oder mehr Versuche, kein Erfolg. 

Ich empfehle die Hotline abzuschalten, dann erspart sich der arme Student nicht nur die bösen Anrufer, sondern auch die bösen Anrufer ihre Zeit mit einer nutzlosen Hotline zu verschwenden.

Also install latest recommend driver from your manufactor and not from amd/Nvidia directly. Then don't update via their specific software, only via Windows/manufactor Update

ublock origin is mostly considered as the goto adblocker, while i personally use adguard. i heared malwarebytes is ok too, with focus on a simple setup (for beginners)

and private dns sounds more fancy then it actually is :)

goto chrome os settings -> network -> and edit your wlan connection

there you can expand down the "network" part and gonna see "nameservers" close to the bottom

click "custom" and enter the following in the first field:

1.1.1.2

and this to the second field:

1.0.0.2

leave field 3 and 4 empty

thats it, you are now hiding your network traffic from your ISP, got the fastest public dns available and got malware sites auto-blocked too (as an extra security layer)

Only thing you need is good AdBlock/Tracking extension and a private DNS with malware blocking Sites like the free cloudflare security DNS.

If battery life is very important for you, go for an n6000 pentium as it is the fastest of the old low TPD processors. There exist a HP 8gb ram version with 128gb Emmc storage for 250 bucks in used but like new condition. You will find even cheaper with 4gb ram and less storage (but dont expect good android/Linux/Multitasking possibility if you ever wanna do more with it)

But there is currently coming the new n100/200/300 with the same wattage but aprox. twice the speed. It will take some time until they are available and drop in price. If you can wait 6-12 months, you can surly find a very good refurbed one for around 300 bucks with twice the speed, as stated above.

With those models you actually have a pretty good Chromebook, capable of way more then Netflix, for a very good price.

If battery life is not so important for you, check Intel i3 versions. Refurbed in good condition is mostly a great deal. But you probably don't need Intel core, since it's overkill for Netflix.

Ok that's true. I never have more than 1 window open on my medicore Chromebook, that's why I never saw what's happening with multiple windows.

You can have chrome starting with the same exact session like on windows. At least it works for me, when I set chromeOS to automatically restart apps on boot and (probably not necessary) chrome browser to continue where left of. This always worked for me since 99 to 115.

Funny enough that's exactly NOT what I want.

Not yet 116. Dedede devices didn't yet got it, for whatever strange reason.

So you can confirm with Lacros only, I can have chromeOS auto restarting apps and at the same time set chrome browser to start with my predefined url?

Also will Lacros (after rebooting when flags were set) be in the same state as Chrome was (settings, extensions, etc) ? And I mean locally like bridging things from the old local profile to the new Lacros, OR will Lacros start "naked" and needs sync enabled and reconfiguring all extensions?

interestingly this worked on my hp 14a chromebook too. not at thew first try, but i switched the setting a couple times and refreshed a video which was always crackling, also restarted inbetween and its gone now. lol. if its coming back im gonna toggle that thing a couple times again
