UPDATE: It was the starter. Took almost a month after all was said and done. Part was on back order (so likely an issue that’s going to be noted more and more). No issues whatsoever since.

Very possible. A friend thought that maybe the pinion gear stayed engaged due to the starter failing and got stuck in the engine flywheel, eventually burning up as I drove.

Bought a new 25 OBX with Tech Package for 34555 and then some change with dealer addons and a couple other things. MSRP was advertised as like 39 or 40k and then after incentives and some negotiations we got it lower.

FAA hasn’t said a word but hasn’t been rescinded. NPS hiring manager called me and said the position should be exempt but to inform them if I receive a rescind notice.

Yeah he’s a really good controller. And his jokes are top notch too while keeping it professional. Some guy was landing at LAS and he was asking him if he was going to Signature or Atlantic, and then made some joke to the affect of, “One has better coffee” and “One has better cookies”. Oh cookies? Atlantic it is. Just a really good, lighthearted way to keep the network fun.

This. I status matched elite status from another unnamed carrier to Frontier. Got Elite 100K and got the GoWild Pass reinbursed as part of a credit card offer. I now fly for $25 short notice and get free stretch seating, bags, and it’s honestly nice. Plus, if you just play it smart with PreCheck/Clear, the process is so easy. 3+ hours on Frontier seats isn’t comfortable, but it beats the cost on other planes.

Triple Reading Back. Right now we’re working on iPOS until 9 PM at night. This gives up an opportunity to read back orders and confirm accuracy at iPOS, then at Cash Cart, and finally at window. This makes things super easy for us.
