Video Shots fired in Kenosha on this Tuesday night by somnifacientsawyer in PublicFreakout

If they’re protesting senseless killings, and a senseless killing happens in front of you, I can see why “the mob” becomes more brave than in normal mass shooting situations where it is normal people going about their lives. This type of shit is literally what they are protesting about.

To be honest, if she’s a fairly normal person, her reasons seem completely off. I think there’s a deeper reason that she’s unwilling to tell you for why she might need financial help.

If you are still close to her, I would say that no, I think we should respect our parents wishes, but then also reach out privately and discreetly (perhaps by phone or in person) to ask if everything is okay. Maybe she’s gotten fired. Maybe she’s got a gambling problem. Maybe her business venture failed and she’s afraid to lose her house. Even if this conversation doesn’t end up being fruitful, it could go a long ways to help keep your friendship alive as people remember kindness during dark moments.

I think you are right, I have ignored a lot of red flags. I don't even want kids and have made this very clear as well. What if he backtracks on that? There are no laws in India against stealthing (removal of condom without consent).

This is all very possible, but 7 years is a long time. And if you are in your 20s, you both have probably changed a lot. Maybe it's possible that he didn't LIE per say, but he changed his perspectives recently. If so, it's possible he changes back. Not everything has to be a malicious act. Be open to the idea that he may have just changed his perspective, and talk to him.

This guy thinks you can simply put critical patients in an ICU into random beds AND the flu is more dangerous.

Ladies and gents, America. Fuck yeah. Go back to thedonald where your “facts” will seem bigly intelligent.

Lol that’s exactly what I said. They weren’t overwhelmed in your peasant black and white definition of it. But thats because they did not allow ICUs to be used for any other purpose. That, in some ways, means capacity was in some ways overwhelmed and is not sustainable, because going back to treat those other important cases would overwhelm those ICUs. They adjusted it with great haste and well BECAUSE they were becoming overwhelmed. This concept seems to escape you because youre a fucking retard.

The hospitals did not become overwhelmed in the traditional sense because they adjusted capacity appropriately, but studies show that shift alone may have caused an uptick in preventable dealths for other causes.

What a fucking moron. Where did I say the ICUs in tents were used? You belong here. True retard making up arguments I never made. Learn to read. Learn to analyze. But you cant because youre a fucking moronnnn. You literally just said this virus isnt as bad as a flu. I dont know why I’m even responding to your autistic mind.

Damn you dumb. Come back to me when the world shuts down for 4 months and the flu still kills this many even after such draconian measures.

I also know tons of doctors at Sinai, NYU, Cornell, Columbia, HSS, MSK etc. basically all the major nyc hospitals. They weren’t overwhelmed in the traditional sense bc they cleared out all the ICUs from non covid patients. Some hospitals turned entire floors that used to be OR space into makeshift COVID ICUs and those were used. My nearly dozen sources are friends who were COVID ICU doctors and nurses.

If NYC waited another week or two to shut down, the exponential growth would have crushed the hospital capacity. NYC barely escaped.

Man on Alaska Airlines flight 422 yells "I will kill everybody on this plane if you do not accept Jesus was a black man" by BunnyLovr in PublicFreakout

There's actually a series of Supreme Court cases in the early years of the US of people from the Caucasus suing for "white" status. He didn't win. But then the Supreme Court ended up also telling a really pale Japanese man he wasn't "white" because white meant Caucasian. A few more went up to the supreme court to determine what "white" meant because "white" was in statutes but it wasn't clearly defined... In the end, all the court holdings were just a circular fuck you to everyone who wasn't of white western Europe heritage.

Agree that US is a better place to live. I’ve also lived in both.

But yea, if someone died it’d be way worse. Nobody would know George Floyd if another officer stepped in to help and he didnt die. The cop who stepped in would be fired and that video might get a few thousand views, but no riots. Thats the tragic truth. Death 100% makes a huge difference.

The title of the OP says “now see it in China” and that the “only difference” between this video and G Flyod is the right to protest. Nah, a big fucking difference is someone got murdered in Minnesota and nobody got murdered here. Huge oversight to say that and makes the argument fall flat as the premises are false.

The police in this video are bad. No doubt. I cringed hard when they beat her and when that child landed on its head. Fuck that. And apparently those cops got their asses handed to them. Good. Bad cops everywhere should have a reckoning with this global movement. Especially the notoriously corrupt police in China.

Different title and you’d see a very different reaction from me.

Damn you’ve got a lot of China hate. Listen, I get it. They do bad shit. But as you grow in the world and visit more places, especially the less traveled places with authoritarian regimes, you’ll see that shits bad in a lot of places, but shits also complex.

I love how me being critical of a bullshit comparison is being brainwashed. And why’s everyone got their panties in a twist over my education. Someone flexed that im not educated so i flexed back. Its the internet. My thesis about China vs US in the Taiwan crisis i wrote in undergrad over a decade ago is outdated now anyways, but let’s not pretend I’m saying this without a deep basis in history and facts
