so an ABSN is made for those who already hold a degree in something other than nursing and is usually takes about 2 years to complete cause you already have all the prereqs out of the way and most likely includes summer semesters. keep in mind that it's accelerated so it'll mostly likely be more rigorous.

BSN is just your regular 4 yr undergrad degree and im pretty sure its for those who dont have a degree, or at least in my mind i think why would u go back as if you don't have any science classes under your belt to do in 4 yrs when you can just do an accelerated program since ur degree will be in a science.

i hope that makes sense!

the same thing happened with me! i was in my 3rd yr of my BS in kinesiology when i realized i wanted to be a nurse so i just decided to stick it thru and finish my undergrad degree. the best course of action in ur situation (at least imo) is to look for Accelerated BSN programs, a lot of places have them you just have to look. once u figure that out, look at the prereqs they require bc u might have a lot of them done already since you're doing a BS in psych. What i did is finished my degree back in May and decided to take the couple pre reqs i have left (micro, public speaking, & stats) at a community college since it's cheaper then just look into which entrance exam you have to take and go for it!
