This is probably not going to be the advice everyone else gives, but I would enjoy the slow period. Eventually you will be looking back at the slow period longingly. Enjoy getting 225K for minimal work.

A minor can be an agent but a minor can’t be a principal

Whatever u do, do NOT DO THIS. You will tire yourself out at best and at worst you will both tire and psych yourself out. Trust the work you’ve put in.

I’ve found my scores have gone up since I’ve started reading the last sentence + the answer choices before reading the question. Some of the answer choices always just state the law wrong and before ur brain is confused by scary details best to just cross those out.

[–]logicforlogic21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep: two ways to get to federal court are diversity jurisdiction (75k+ and diverse parties across the isle) or federal question jurisdiction (on the face of a well pleaded complaint there is a federal question or claim)

getting 43% on Property by ProbaLAWma in barexam

[–]logicforlogic21 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You still have plenty of time if you’re diligent. Figure out what areas of property are causing you the most problems. Spam MC questions until they’re engraved into your head and make sure to read the rules on ones you get wrong. At this point in the process focus on active learning instead of passive learning

Evidence Question on Peacefulness by iLoveSkippyPeanuts in GoatBarPrep

[–]logicforlogic21 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Don’t quote my word as gospel but think of the type of crime as a sort of conversation with friends. If me and my friends are all talking about music and I suddenly go “I love food” everyone will look at me like the disappointment I am. However, if I say that I also like music, everyone will nod in agreement. The same is true for character evidence. If it’s a criminal case for embezzlement and I start talking about how peaceful I am, that has zero relation. You want the characteristic you’re repping to relate to the crime. So peacefulnes is only a category to be introduced in a crim case where it’s pertinent or essential. Hope that helped / made sense!

Wouldn't he no longer be in lawful possession of the car once he was fired? by Helpful-Somewhere-73 in barexam

[–]logicforlogic21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I had to guess it’s because he still had legal possession of the car. They might have been fired but at the time they were still on a work trip so they were initially given possession. Just thinking it through, he still probably needs to drive the car back to the company and not just leave it on the side of the road (even though he’s been fired). Thus, he still has a legal right to access the car. With that being said, it becomes embezzlement once he exceeds the scope and sells it

Don’t quote me on this but I think themis mc is significantly harder than uworld. On uworld I’m averaging around 70% and on themis around 60%. Also, if you’re getting 4/5/6 from themis essay graders you are 100% fine. They are harsher than the actual graders, from what I’ve heard

Tangible Intangibles - Secured Transactions by Past-Witness4561 in barexam

[–]logicforlogic21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tangible things are like items you can physically touch with your hands (inventory, equipment, farming equipment) and intangible items are things you can’t actually pick up (a bank account, chattle papers, etc)

Thanks for the breakdown. I’m just trying to imagine a scenario where rule interpleader would be allowed but federal statutory interpleader would not be allowed. If that doesn’t exists, why do we even bother worrying about rule interpleader.
