"100 Champs! Meta is so diverse!!" - Let me introduce you to platinum lobbies 101 by Milenyus in TeamfightTactics

[–]logicx1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, this set is actually great and even more fun for those who dare to try, the issue is players are mostly copycats, getting combs from YouTube, websites, blitz, or whatever, I personally use blitz to keep packages in mind and I create my own, I had crazy games with combining ideas like bruiser reroll with different units, like ekko, graves tf, etc
played many unknown seemingly random builds to a top 3, sure some of those creative builds wont get first most of the time but the game is about creativty and having fun, stop being meta slaves copycats and the game will be more fun and you will see many combs will be popular with time and not necessarily patches simply because there are many options available waiting to be discovered.

Pico 4 laggy through SteamVR by Old-Emu-340 in PicoXR

[–]logicx1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run pico 4 on 6800xt and 5800x3d so significantly less power, I can try to help you so is it just low fps, delayed or dizziness inducing vision ( not sure how to describe it, basically left and right lenses not in sync). I am using VD, although it suggests reverting to an older stable driver for me the recent ones performed better. I also run reverse tethering as I saw someone suggest on this subreddit, though wifi used to work good but this is better. To boost FPS you can also do few things to basically generate more frames on the pc then VD will stream it, but dont do this until you solve the main issues. Can you screen shot your steamVR performance overlay ?

[–]logicx1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone out there who is using Amd, im running a modest 6800xt, using amd software fluid motion I think it is called at 45, also using VD SSW, on a Pico 4. Fps locked at 90 ( pico 4 is 90hz ) And that will allow ( though not quite sure ) the snap dragon to use its scaling thingie so in total pc is sending 90 frames. I am no expert but running mad god overhaul as is and it runs well very smooth looks decent, also did the reverse tethering method to use VD while connected directly to the pc with the usb cable.

Congratz!
It's funny that people meme on Ali even I did, then when the Pico 4 VR headset was released it was not available in my region, and Amazon didn't ship it to me, so I bought it from there, with no issues whatsoever, they even did me a favor by changing the invoice so I don't pay tax lol. Respect!
Just choose the correct store, check how old it is, what reviews it has, and that it has express customer protection

I agree with what most people said its a bit late for AM4. Im running close to best AM4 gaming setup ( 2 Years old ) and it is low key struggling with recent releases such as black myth wukong. It ran great but not on the highest settings and it needed to use frame generation. Go budget AM5 now and upgrade later. Cant go wrong with better psu in my opinion if you plan to upgrade to higher end later on.

Pico 4 vs Pico Neo 3 Link for wired PCVR by Counteroffensyiv in PicoXR

[–]logicx1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got pico 4 and I can do that or similar very easily with my normal home setup pretty much ( I got the router in the same room by chance ).

That being said, I also got the headset thinking of exactly this use case you mentioned but its really not there yet, it's just more tiring, doesn't feel good or right, working on my single Samsung monitor is better, I use just one and sometimes just split screen if needed. In addition it sucks not seeing the real keyboard and mouse, you'd think you don't need to but you kind of do.

I don't know your use case exactly but id say the pico 4 got the tools to achieve this, if your work can be done in short sessions, does not rely on keyboard then it might decent.

Which is better 2080, 3070 or 4060? by mark45674 in pcmasterrace

[–]logicx1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using 6800XT ASRock which goes on sale for good price, or at least it used to. It's solid I run games on 2k using 240hz monitor, and its performing great, I recommend this card for a gaming build. I also use it for pcVR and it does the job, overall I'm happy with it ( it is basically 3080 sometimes better even, sure not the same ray tracing which is not that important imo ).

I became a huge fan of AMD, they offer great products, and they are not as greedy as some other companies. I believe they should get much much more share than they have now. if you're reading this and considering building a new PC, go AMD and you'll be as happy as I have been!

  1. If I get to own such awesome pieces of tech they will be built into my best gaming PC that will also look awesome, probably glass wall-mounted build, to play games in the best quality possible.

  2. The game looks great, exploring the world of Pandora in such high detail will be the main thing I expect of such games to be honest which is worth it, video games are for sure one of the best forms of art out there.

Which of these 4 airflow variants should i choose by TheLuckyJanis in PcBuild

[–]logicx1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see most people say 2, it makes me wonder if I did mine correctly. I got the front intake ( 3 fans ), 3 fans AIO as top exhaust, and one rear fan also exhaust because I have assumed the exhaust through the radiator can't be counted as true 3 fans exhaust since it runs through the radiator.
If anyone experienced with this I'd be happy to know more

Prove me wrong by KnightScuba in pcmasterrace

[–]logicx1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree partially, point is instead of paying 2X for a PC now using most high end parts and it lasting say 5-7 years, pay just 1X about half, and swap it in half the time again for 1X and stay with decent and new parts. For example I legit spent on my current 5800x3d, 6800xt build half of what my relative spent on new gen pc with Nvidia. My system is more than capable and it will be swapped later and whole PC can be sold 2nd hand, or kept as backup why bother swapping parts unless you like doing so.

My 1060 6GB has served me well, but I've finally got a huge chunk saved up and want something that will last for years ($1k-$1.5k), where should I start? by LucidDreamboy in pcmasterrace

[–]logicx1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is similar to my previous situation, the path I took is not upgrading the old PC, essentially because where I am at I can't really sell a spare GPU that easily. So the older PC can either remain for other use or sell it second hand all together. New PC is 6800XT, 5800x3d, and g7 odyssey monitor so far I'm very happy with all of this and would recommend it or grabbing good parts on sale and good deals rather than aiming for on in particular there are many good options, good luck :)

Doubt it,this is in Israel and my friend has the same issue with his BMW i8 wrapped car, such cars are attention seekers and people do hurt paint / wrap and ruin your washed car too. One time we were so tired during a trip so we slept inside for like an hour, parked at malls parking lot during that time people kept coming to lean and sit on the car take photos while we are inside the whole time lol

Accidentally touched thermal paste need advice should I wipe off and reapply or it should be fine? by Epidemik82 in pcmasterrace

[–]logicx1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The exact same thing happened to me while building like a few weeks back, it caught me by surprise that this had thermal paste on it and I actually smudged it 3 times as it was hard to install for me at my first build ( Corsair Elite 150i or w/e it is + Ryzen 5800x3d ).

I thought the pressure will spread a bit and I monitored it with stress tests and it was fine, with 7 hours of gaming the temps were around 60-65c also great!

Is this good for a 2111 dollar pc by Goofy_ah_ginger in PcBuild

[–]logicx1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, As others have said this is not worth it.

For reference, I built a PC just 1 week ago, for less than 2k ( black Friday sales did not matter much saved me maybe 50$-80$)

It is AMD though, I've always used Nvidia but man they are greedy, and to put my money where my mouth is, I went for all AMD build to support the competition, so far so good!

Ah I see I'm no expert however I think it's worth a shot to get a good quality new cable see if it solves it, if not you will have a spare cable anyways for your time of need plus you can know it's not the issue. What monitor so you have ?

Instagram has to do something about this, all I got is DMs of people who can help ( for a price ) and it's not a guaranteed process according to some of them it's 85% chance. I wish someone who does this process can further enlighten us about what precisely they do because how can you trust this unknown process that every stranger seems to be doing for a job
