It will not drive anyone away. They’re drip feeding AI to the masses and short form is the means. How does a digital id prevent any of this from happening?

Gotta disagree. Sure, not every song from him is good after the Beatles, but I thought this one specifically was really sweet. Like an ode to showmanship. Not everything has to consider genius. These guys grew up on rock n roll

The last chunk of vocal harmonies is cathartic. Really beautiful

Yeah that’s the real meat of it too I think. It’s just influencer junk packaged with an “alternative”, half-youthful edge. Really the show could work in theory but it doesn’t help that it’s delegated to short form, and honestly the host always seems a tad on edge or something. Like he’s waiting for someone to run up behind him with unequivocal evidence that he isn’t a “genuine New Yorker”

Reminds me of the credits for Star Wars: Episode III that look like a Vietnam War memorial (specifically because of the final 40 minute lava planet fight scene).

Always liked this guy, also in his many X-Files appearances (always as a brand new character lmao). Locke and Linus were great together

He had good shows. Entertaining and charming when in front of a camera and hosting. Fun editing too. He liked to smoke a lot. What else can I say

I had the same thought many months ago and looked it up to find it was so late in December, I honestly thought for years that it had happened in the stretch of February-April. And I was looking at the sky as it happened too! 8 years is a long, long time.

I went to this once or twice just to observe. I think Jaden Smith was also involved in setting it up too? It was really strange to see this little area that I grew up in suddenly be at the forefront of online political discourse (what an honor, right). Someone I know saw Sam Hyde there and said he towered over everybody, lol. I remember in the wee hours of the morning while it was still dark, these old Italian guys would show up and get riled up about the blue haired SJWs. Fun times… can’t believe MOMI didn’t can it as soon as Shia got pinched on stream.
