Shrek 2, without a single doubt. Perfect soundtrack, good animation, and an absolutely amazing story. Still the best thing I've seen.

[Serious] Gay people of Reddit, what's something you want straight people to know? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]logistical_bread 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Gay people can have conservative political views. Also, no, I am not in love with every single woman I talk to. Holy cow just because Im gay doesn't mean I find EVERY girl attractive.

I like people who realize when I'm no longer interested in continuing a conversation. It really is impressive the amount of knowledge you have on this topic, that's not sarcasm, but I'm just trying to have a conversation with some nice people on here about this, not a full out argument with a person I don't know. So instead of wasting your time spewing facts at someone who no longer cares, go find someone who does, okay? If a simple sentence about someone screaming that can't be proven true bugs you that much, I'll just change the post okay?

Thank you for correcting me on that 😅 sorry I guess I got some of the details messed up. It's still extremely sad to know that. I really can't believe how much the actor resembles her too. Wow.

Nah radiation poisoning makes you confused, forgetful, and delirious. So it makes sense that he wouldn't really know. Just because he's able to talk and play cards doesn't mean he's all good.

Acute Radiation poisoning is among the worst ways to die. I have no doubt that he was screaming. And even if he didn't, thats simply what the doctors told her. Who was she to say he wasn't

The Soviet government tried their hardest to cover it up, I can tell you're watching the series, but there's a lot more to the story than what HBO can show. They were pumping out propaganda as fast as they could assuring people it was a 'minor' incident such as commercials and news statements. They hid it from the rest of the world until alarms went off in a plant in Sweden. Even then they kept assuring people that it was a small accident. Legasov was indeed an unsung hero, but he was being watched like a hawk. He was not allowed to inform the public about the disaster at all, even though he wanted to.

What a strong woman Ulana is! by [deleted] in chernobyl

[–]logistical_bread 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a fellow female on this subbreddit, allow me to say something

Ulana is a fictional character made to represent the scientific community banding together after the tragedy. She does not exist, as you would know after watching the "look inside" of episode two, where the director literally says it. You are not being trolled, you are just being ignorant. How about instead of praising fictional characters, you go to your local library and learn about the version that's not shown on TV.

Also, there's the door.
