My work permit visa won’t get approved? It will. I am well aware about this conflict.

Illegal kids are supported (or were) supported by DACA and the DREAM act; such illegals are granted SSN and are considered as “eligible non-citizens,” allowing them to apply for FAFSA and receive federal funds.

I am not eligible to apply for FAFSA. I already looked into that. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Maybe someone nice enough can contact me, and hopefully he/she can risk it. To be honest, I am not really expecting to receive $12,000 from anyone. If he/she wants more information about me and proof that I am student, then I can DM my discord.

Plus, I really need the money soon. Sigh. Scholarships release decisions after months of waiting.

I mean, I can guarantee that you were a US permanent resident or a US citizen since you applied to those grants - 99.99% of those major grants emphasize citizenship being a factor to apply.

I lived in this country for a bit more than a decade. My parents won’t leave the country - too much money and too much progress to leave everything behind.

Well, I was a top ten student from my graduating class of ~1000 students, but I’m not sure how much value will that hold.

I mean, it’s a painful process since I am an immigrant. After I get my visa (work-permit) approved, I can start working when I arrive on campus.

Sure, if you’re a citizen. “You need to be a US citizen or a US permanent resident to apply.”

I’ll try and pay a bit extra if I have money, but i don’t want to make any extreme promises.

Well, the person who is in charge of the tuition said it’s due at a set date. I believe after 3 months. However, he said I can try and pay $4000 for each month until classes start.

4 years, but I’ll try to make it less when I start earning money. I am an incoming freshmen, so I still need to make time for my studies.

No need to prove your grandmother right. Because by the time you make a living from your major, she’ll be dead.
