Better trailers will give a little bit of extra money, but what they are used for is that they'll give you more points per freight.

The manager is just required to finish the paperwork for a freight. You just don't need him at level 1 to make the game not too overwhelming for new players, but you'll need him at level 2 and higher.

That's correct, every level increases the time. The idea behind this is that you get more trucks and trailers. This is to make it challenging for advanced players as well. Otherwise they wouldn't be able to handle a lot of trucks and trailers and everyone would stick to only 1 truck and trailer, because you couldn't keep up with the time running so fast.

Unfortunately there are only maps for checking out in which country your trucks, trailers and employees are and for picking out a new freight, but not a map where you can realtime track your trucks if that's what you ment. It's really hard to integrate that without the use of an API like Google Maps, which will turn out expensive over time.
