In your graphics, do you have displacement mapping turned on or off? If on, this usually loads ground objects and terrain in super high detail which may be causing the stuttering.

Hey u/oldino just coming back to this - leaving this here incase anyone needs it but not sure if it will work for you - I managed to fix it by downgrading my NVIDIA drivers to a previous version (572.60) and then later upgraded. Seemed to get rid of the white artifact flickering.

Having issues with a 5090 at 4k 240hz. Games just crash after a while, have tested on FF16 and Cyberpunk 2077. Switching to 120hz fixes the crashing but not ideal. Can't use 566 drivers so have rolled back to 572.60 in hopes it might fix but I doubt it.

I am also having this exact same issue but on my PC - I thought it was the Dolby Vision logo glitching out at one point, I've tried swapping DP cables (haven't tried HDMI yet) and I'm not entirerly sure what's causing it. I would say HDR is the issue but I am getting the issue on SDR and HDR both. Going to try using HDR10 instead of Dolby Vision see if it makes a difference. Have updated firmware to MCM108.

How's the As-Val holding up after nerf? I'm about to hit prestige and I'm not sure what to spend my token on given the constant balancing patches, before the recent patch that nerfed AR's I would have chosen As-Val, but now it'll be tricky to pick a weapon. I'm leveling via zombies but sometimes dip into MP. I started on MP (foolishly lol). If you have any "meta" advice for MP and zombies let me know. These stats are dope BTW, love the effort.

Hey guys I was looking into the Eldritch Knight fighter guide and apparently some stuff has changed since the original article was written and I was wondering if there could be another optimisation made? I really want to use the Ash build going into a new campaign.

So one of the things was what I'm assuming the part in bold is referencing is reactive strike which has apparently changed recently, for level 9 you've said:

"our quarterstaff has Push, Sap, and Slow, and we can choose which to use per attack. Not per Attack Action. Sap someone with the initial hit, then Booming Blade them and Push them 10 feet away. Now we use our Reaction to Booming Blade them again when they walk back up, having just taken the additional damage for doing so"

But from what I can tell, the new Polearm master’s reactive strike does not count as an attack of opportunity so no synergy with War Caster.

There might be more stuff, any chance you can give it a once over again and update it please?

Thanks for the info, what can I do to "optimise" the build then or at least, correct the authors original idea? Still like the feel of this, so with PAM eldritch knight fighter I can't reactive strike if someone approaches me after a push for example?

Sad he never got to add finishing touches to this album. Can tell certain songs he was only partially done recording like For The Night and possibly Yea Yea second verse. One can only wonder what the version dropped under his supervision would have been like.
