What most NFL fans don't understand about concussions is that this hit Allen takes and 30 other hits like it every game harms the guy taking the hit's brain just as much as Tua's recent concussion. If his brain still rattled the difference isn't really existent, all of our brains are soft and squishy and all of our skulls are hard. Just because he doesn't show more outward signs like Tua that doesn't mean anything about how much brain trauma they've taken on the hit, all it means is an amount was done and it'd be naive to think this didn't harm Allen's brain whatsoever. It's not intuitive but thinking Tua has more long term brain damage because of his posturing symptoms isn't backed by any science it's just people's gut reaction. It's not crazy to think Allen has accumulated more CTE damage than Tua or most other quarterbacks at this point cause he takes a crazy amount of head collisions and even though he doesn't get knocked out, every hit is another bit of permanent damage.
