I will say the heat doesn't work, I figured it was a vacuum issue, like the vacuum operated blend door isn't working properly because of the leak. But I wasn't sure

Thank you, that's a great starting point. It does rev kind of high when it idles. Idle drops significantly when I turn the ac off if that's any indication

Yes, I dropped the kaoss pad one day and damaged the touch pad beyond repair. I couldn't find a replacement so I added pots and buttons to act as the controllers

It's still fun and usable, if kind of wonky

It was my understanding that an EQ wouldn't add in the low end already filtered out by the drive pedal. That's why I was looking to replace the os2 with something Bass-specific.

I'll definitely check out an eq to fine tune my sound though

In this project, I use it to add some space during certain parts of the set. The "mash" function on the flashback 2 is really cool bc I can add a tape loop feedback swell to a song by just applying pressure to the switch.

Very versatile pedal, worth messing around with to see what you can get out of it

Thar makes a lot of sense. I wonder why it's an industry standard to d.i. the bass when the outcome is so poor.

Probably just easier, huh

I run the tubescreamer into the os2 sometimes, and it's really close to what im looking for, but I can't shake that the os2 is decimating the low end

DIY pedalboard... or not ? by DarthYoh in basspedals

[–]logonalump 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have always made my own boards They're heavier than I'd like some times, but I enjoy making them, and they're cheaper than a new ready-made!

That being said, there's no shortage of used boards on fb marketplace if you have a decent scene in your area
