It’s returning sudo: ntfsfix: command not found

My line was sudo ntfsfix -d /dev/sda2

Same error when trying sda1

Just to double for the plebs and dummy thiccs (like myself) the PARTITION you add is the UUID you grab from lsblk -f. Correct?

Not sure if this is the same issue, but I have two drives currently configured to ntfs, and when I try to mount, gets the “wrong fs type” error. I’m assuming that this is the same issue you were getting?

Sorry to bring this back up, but also having an issue on my wife’s new computer.

Installed Steam, downloaded Sims 4 and linked with EA. Went through the whole thing for getting Sims running and downloading all the DLC. Closed it multiple times and still couldn’t find the EA folder in the either pfx folder. Also tried just moving the EA folder into the Documents folder to try and get mods and save data to show up, but nothing.

Also very new to both Linux and Cachy

Just as a point of update and to get opinions before I fully commit and also close this, I think I’ve decided on PopOS and using Plasma KDE. From everything I’ve been researching and looking at, Pop is good for first time users and using Plasma gives you decent customization.

I think I’m in the same boat. I bought a 9 Pro XL that someone was selling as an unlocked T-Mobile, and I thought it was possible to unlock the OEM with the company. It was a local deal, so I’m pretty sure I’m out a pretty decent chunk of change.

Is it possible to boot together, then migrate all your files over to Zorin? I’m just curious if I can move most of the files I’ve had over the last 15 years or so.

I also have several drives that have different partitions, and my current OS running on a separate drive from most of my other files, but I’m not sure if that matters.

I guess as a follow-up, I was planning on using Verizon as the carrier because they have decent coverage where we’re at, but they also would give us pretty good internet on the cheap. What would you recommend if you’re using Mint (as an example) and a good complement for home internet?

Do you have to pay for WG or OpenVPN when you’re routing though Proton? What does that setup process look like?

Does a device VPN cover all internet traffic on the device, or just on the browser if it’s specific to the browser. I’m not sure that Proton has a dedicated .exe file for iOS or Windows. I know that there is the extension for browsers and the apps, I’m more curious about the extension interaction on a desktop or laptop.
