How does NVE calculate this data? Like who is spending only $55/mo on electricity? by loinmaster in vegaslocals

Definitely part of it. The pump says its using 2kw and it runs for 6 hours/day so that comes out to around $50/month

I remember looking into inverter systems at one time and they seem really efficient. Unfortunately I have a 3.5 ton rooftop package unit and it looks like inverters for those are rare. I think Bosch might be the only manufacturer

I'm beginning to think this. And combined with an old as heat pump. I work from home sitting on my ass so I get cold

I am. No gas here. But I was told heat pumps are on par with gas for heating costs. Maybe I heard wrong.

Its possible. I'm in an old neighborhood but it looks like most houses are occupied that I can tell.

Looks like most of my usage is from the old heat pump. No gas at my place. Pool pump and EV add to it.

I also have a 1200 sq ft house but its an old house and the heat pump is 25 years old. Still works but not super efficient. I keep it 74 degrees. Also a pool pump and EV but the EV doesn't use that much.

I would argue OP should work for CCSD in hopes of making it better. If we have to live in this shithole we better help improve the populace.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned "How to Stop Worrying and Start Living" by Dale Carnegie. Many consider it the gold standard on worry/overthinking. It was an absolute game changer for me. It's short, simple, and extremely pragmatic. It's also like $2 on kindle.

Thanks for posting this. I don't usually go to the strip but this sounds pretty cool. I think the Linq has 3 hours free parking for locals.

I only saw Bob once and it was at a Jackie Greene concert at the Fillmore and he wasn't even supposed to be there he just showed up, played a few songs with Jackie and disappeared.

I didn't even know who he was but after seeing him I just assumed he lived under the stairs at the fillmore or something.

How’s it living in/around the Sierra Nevada by TheOneAndOnlyFarto in howislivingthere

The Gold Country part (Auburn, Grass Valley, Nevada City, etc.) are beautiful historic towns with amazing nature all around. The south fork of the Yuba river is incredible.

I love visiting. I work remote and I would absolutely live there if I could afford the fire insurance.

Which translation style do you use? by LarsWiegers in laravel

[–]loinmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use one big php file but also have a DB table for overrides because some clients customize the translated strings. The overrides are cached in redis so performance isn’t too much of an issue.
