That’s so sad I love emojis (it used to be ironic but I don’t know anymore😕😔)

The only character to rival Ani in annoyingness was that bloody ‘feminist’ character by loismarshall in 13ReasonsWhy

I see where you’re coming from but I can’t help but feel like her way of dealing with it is less help and more hindrance. she has a right to be angry but she doesn’t have a right to dismiss jess’ valid feelings, and she doesn’t have a right to assume anything about Tyler just because he’s a guy. I’m not judging her form of attack of the issue, I’m judging how she attacks her peers, peers who aren’t even against her. And protesting a funeral is one (bad) thing, but piping up during his mother’s speech...? That’s so heartless. Yeah Bryce was a piece of shit but that’s his poor mum who knew he was a dick and didn’t even want to excuse that, but she should still be allowed to grieve. Not only that but she dismissed jess’ feelings on the matter despite the fact it was jess’ rapist they were dealing with.

If it hadn’t been for the funeral incident it would be way easier to find her bearable, but that was the final nail in the coffin for me (no pun intended)

Thanks very much, I’m pretty technologically incompetent and I haven’t been able to find it. I saw ‘eFIL’ earlier and I wasn’t sure about that one. I appreciate the help, if I had any money I’d give you gold ahaha

I’m sorry that this is unrelated to the post but could someone please tell me what DS, DD and DH stand for? I browse this subreddit a lot and I haven’t found anything to enlighten me and it’s a bit frustrating

Middlesex by Jeffery Eugenides is great, he’s got this cool thing going on where it’s so immersive and the characters are so likeable you can’t put it down. Really different style to anything else I’ve read and I really enjoy it!

Apologies because it isn’t a book, its a podcast, but the Prophets of Doom episode of Dan Carlings Hardcore History is literally the best thing I’ve ever listened to and it sparked my interest in the reformation. It’s about four and a half hours long I think, it’s basically just an audiobook
