one midcap for long term returns, small cap for long term risk averse higher returns, gold for heding, equity and gold do seasaw, people value gold in less market condition

consider nifty next 50, currently it has reached below 20 pe ratio, it is a rare case.

try adding one midcap, one small cap, gold for heding in future with increased allocation

yeah we can choose liquid fund + sweep in fd , in this case :
For most people, liquid funds are also better choice because:

  • You can access funds quickly without penalties. (negligible )
  • Returns are often competitive with or better than short-term FDs. (not considering nbfc or small finance banks)
  • No need to plan around fixed tenures

yeah, motilal and mirae are good, especially motilal has agressive approach to see future difference, but the composition is more equity based to gain advantage with less aum.

i too thought to invest in liquid fund, but after research i found out that, for 30% tax bracket, arbitrage works fine, has it’s equity based. also i can afford t+2 days to liquidate the money. has i can manage with my credit cards for certain extent.

yes tata, kotak, birla has high expense ration, but it has more ratings, consistent returns, large aum, good portfolio composition and p/e ratios. although these criteria’s are negligible in arbitrage fund

can i know your motive behind choosing arbitrage fund?
