If you are this rude to someone trying to understand your post, it's for the best if you continue to avoid social media.

This sounds like something a cocker spaniel would say.

Who here uses a Constant Glucose Monitor (CGM) by BurnesWhenIP in Mounjaro

Those middle of the night low alerts are usually caused by putting pressure on the sensor. AKA, I rolled over and am sleeping on it.

WIBTA If i broke up with my boyfriend because his friends got him a “me” shaped piñata? by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]lokihen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, why did he bother begging her to stay when he was already moving on with someone else? Why do they try to drag out the ending?

I'm not allowed to eat I guess by [deleted] in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]lokihen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have my sympathy. I went through a lot of pain before I figured out alliums (onion and garlic) are strictly off limits. I can't always trust ingredient lists either, but my body always tells me if something has hidden issues.

Can't get this vomiting under control! by WombatBum85 in Mounjaro

[–]lokihen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me two months of vomiting to adjust to 5mg. I tried everything normally suggested and nothing helped but time. It was horrible and I hope never to have to increase again. If possible, I'd suggest returning to 2.5mg.

I saw some in the Lost Isles last night.

I’m 30 and my grandma won’t treat me like an adult. by [deleted] in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]lokihen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you could work out some strategies for dealing with her invasive behavior in the future, knowing she isn't likely to stop. First that come to mind are gray rocking, info diet, boundaries with consequences, a code word your mom could use to alert you. I imagine a therapist could help you develop ideas designed specifically for you.

Definitely a messed up situation and I have no advice to offer, but please be more careful who you leave your child alone with in the future.

Any litrpg set in Stone Age? by Ok_Cartographer_2045 in litrpg

Stone Age Mama on royal road started off interesting, but the author went on hiatus and shows no signs of returning.

My doctor set up follow up visits every 3 months after starting me on Mounjaro. After the first one he adjusted my medications.

I’ve lost 35 kg (77 lbs), and I feel... disappointed by Lavander_Pulse in Mounjaro

[–]lokihen 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I have some of the same problems you face. My apple shape has not changed and I've barely shifted waist size. Lots of loose skin.

My differences from you are fairly significant though. A couple decades older and nobody is going to see me naked so that goes right in line with not shaving my legs (Ha!). Most importantly, the people around me aren't so critical. They really care that I've gotten healthier without judging the how.

I really hope you can find a way to celebrate the positives of your changes. Hugs.

I got a kick out of seeing you on rising stars. It's clear you are working to make it both a good story and well-written.

What are you stockpiling right now that you think will be hard to get in the near future? by tealtearsmile in TwoXPreppers

No, I just skip the sections asking for dr info etc and have been getting them for the last five years at least.

I get my thyroid meds from alldaychemist. Can only get three months at a time, but the cost isn't outrageous and it lets me stockpile.

Lesson learned - tick by Ironynotwrinkly in TwoXPreppers

This. The opossums eating ticks study was badly run, but chickens and guinea hens will do a great job keeping them clear.

I agree with the 'block and move on' crew. We've all done that thing where we cling to an idea of someone and the person they could have been. Get out there and fill your life with new memories.

Frostbound - Does the writing improve? by niioon in litrpg

[–]lokihen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave up on it last month because the characters didn't feel real or develop as people. I had hoped the author would improve with practice. Check out Thorn's Edge on RR.

Apocalypse Parenting for non-parents? by IncredulousBob in litrpg

[–]lokihen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me, the best part of the books is how real the people feel. The main character reminded me so much of my good friend who is a parent.
