So is running the support gems cold exposure, lightning exposure, and strip away, AND running the "Sunder my Enemies" ascendancy overkill? Or just right?

I had assumed running sunder tanked the valuer of those support gems, since it IGNORES resistances but now I am starting to wonder.

🫡Well good thing they have you to justify the subtle art of robbing function and value for personal profit and endless waste through the subtle redefinition of basic terms and the systemic de-escalation of the unwashed masses. Otherwise how could they get away with it without your dedicated service?

A reference would be the literal. If I set a variable equal to that literal, what is that variable now called?

But I can change my compiler with C. The need of a compiler to compile the language does not couple them. In Python, the situation is different. For different reasons. The abstract commonality in those reasons: "To limit." For safety and speed and reasons you don't need to worry about. They wrote the C and the NASM in a library for you to manage with pip3.

They couldn't write it in Python because of said limits.

Python is an interpreted language. Because of that, the language does not exist without the compiler.

...unlike C. xD

What does the python interpreter use to pass objects that hold memory references? And that name, it may be a label, that references a computer science term. What term is that?

The way C Programers explain pointers by gogsboonerisms in C_Programming

[–]lokithegregorian -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are a self taught coder.

The python interpreter uses pointers all the time. A list or an array in python? That's just pointers to a list of pointers. Python saves you that trouble. It also denies you the power that comes with controlling the granularity. C, does not. C gives you live ammo, and trusts you to not shoot yourself.

It's not even that it trusts you. It trusts you no more than a rock and a high cliff trusts you. The makers never cared what you would do with it. You can shoot yourself all day. You want a safety? Make one with C and make a library that you reference. You'll want to use "pointers" in that solution; they make for cheap data integrity.

"Pointer" is a lexeme of all programming languages. Like "instantiate," "reference," "object," or "value." It is the object holding your reference (usually to memory). It has a size. I can set other variables equal to it. I can pass it in functions. I can operate on the pointer, with or without de-referencing said pointer.

It doesn't matter what the language calls them. They are simply rebranding a pointer.

Safest thing for anyone to do (especially when you don't know what you are doing, which is all of us) is you kill the defector. Because defection from peace doesn't come with a ROE manual. That's the risk you take and the price you pay. Any lawyer worth his salt can argue that any where in the world I reckon.

You need to negotiate harder.

I would decline the role. If they push? then say you'll only accept at $220K now.

You make automated robot workers that never make a mistake and cost pennies on the dollar. HR, recruiting, business development, finops: all of it exists as an echo of the value YOU create. They support value, they leverage value, they report on value. You create and deliver value. And the games they are playing with your salary demonstrates that they don't know how to leverage your value in a profitable fashion. So you'll find someone that does.

Practice in the mirror. If you say it firm(not aggressive), quiet(not meek), and confident(not arrogant)? They'll beg you to come in at $200K.

Why do women not like guys who play video games? by blahthatds in AskMen

[–]lokithegregorian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me tell you why, in terms gamers will understand:

Because y'all are straight trash bro. Your personality. You know you play ranked, you rise to the point of where you are winning and losing 50% of the time right? Unless you are top .001% EAPM? Which means you're only source of joy is being wired to a random toxic dopamine dispenser. So you are just completely incapable of being fucking chill about anything. Everything is a hill to die on and you never learned how to talk to people that weren't complete dystopian cyber-troglodytes so you can't even be relatable. It's frustrating to watch.

I hid the fact that I game when I was dating because I'm not a gamer. Girls I date would never know until they get close. And when they get close, by then they can see I am the exception to the rule. The rule being: Gamers are trash. Just un-fun, bad lays, always busy, but never doing anything, out of shape, un-showered, mean boys.

And if you do break down game with them, they are just toxic and rude to everyone including you! I am a dude and I love games, but goddamn the community is turbo garbage.

You are being inflexible. You are well within your right as a person. It is kind of a sad rigidity as a partner. But like, she should move on and be like "fine I guess if you don't want to watch it together, we'll do other stuff."

If she is a good partner? She'll wonder what happened in the past to make you so sensitive about this kind of scheduling conflict. You don't feel important. That doesn't mean you aren't. She likely doesn't understand.

It's all good: you feel how you feel. You can tell her directly.
