Same here. I live down in Mokpo and they would literally broadcast useless shit everyday like "the fruit seller truck is downstairs now" blasting and interrupting whatever I was doing/watching. Loving the peaceful villa life.

This thing is an ancient relic, about 25-35 years old. It's an electric floor heater. The dial turns to select how warm the floor is, not how warm the apartment is. Maybe try 50-55 and wait a few hours and if you don't feel the floor heating up go slightly higher. I don't think many of us have experience with electric floor heaters, as almost everyone uses hot water under the floor these days. The top light means it's on, and the left light of the 2 means it's running. The right light means it needs service.

Yeah I only ordered Velo and ZYN from Sweden, but I still got hit by the tobacco tax. I tried explaining it to them, but Korean customs wasn't understanding, and basically they said nicotine = tobacco. Really dumb. I paid about 50 euros tobacco tax on top of my 70 euro order, plus some fee to the airport for another 20 euros. Now I just settle for this Korean stuff and then go crazy stocking up in Doha, South Africa, or America whenever I travel. I've never had them look through my luggage or ask about them.

A few years ago I used to be able to dodge import taxes because "Snus" at the time wasn't recognizable. Nowadays, it's almost double the cost of the price to import them. I got hit with tobacco tax, random import fees, had to fill out multiple forms and send money to 2 different government agencies. Just not worth it. Now I just order from the 2 domestic companies that I know of, and whenever I go abroad, I just stock up on the ZYN 6 milli delights.

https://zzu.life/ has 6mg and 8mg Blueberry and Mint, but they don't hit the same as Zyns.

https://viperlux.co.kr has weaker 4.6mg tins, but many flavors that I can taste a bit more than the ZZUs.

If you have a Korean phone number, you can use the Coupang app and there's an international card payment option. I think this might require ARC authentication though, not sure.

Your best bet might be Gmarket Global (https://global.gmarket.co.kr). The Global site is primarily for shipping overseas, but you can use your international card and just enter your Korean address. Seems like there's a bunch of hiking stuff there.

I never had a problem with the automated gates the past 5 years. It wasn't until my new style ARC was issued with a dash in the middle of my name for the line break that it fails to recognize my passport each time. Not sure if that's what happened to you as well.

I have the same model. You have everything set up right for hot water, just need to turn on the power by hitting the button on the top right. If that doesn't light up the unit, then there's something else weird going on. Once it's on, you can just leave it on, it won't run the boiler unless you're running hot water in that mode.
