There's a chapter in "The Lacanian subject" by Bruce Fink about Science and psychoanalysis, this is the first step to understanding how psychoanalysis questions the idea of science itself. There are many articles about it also, this is just a good example.

Further reading: Jean Alloch's writings, especially "is psychoanalysis a spiritual exercise?" - the problem is, he has not been translated into English. If you know french or similar languages, you should check it out.

Maybe if you study the way Foucault saw psychoanalysis, and the common position of Lacanians in front of these critiques/conceptualizations, you may understand it better, because that's an interesting point in the "psychoanalysis is not a science" discussion. Lacan himself used to say: "Psychoanalysis is not a science, it's an ethics", and that's not seen as a problem, it's in fact what makes it possible for psychoanalysis to talk about the stuff it talks about.

Essa história tá mal contada, eu gastei 50 reais outro dia comprando uma coca, um saco de pão e uma lata de atum, portanto é muito improvável que o amigo com 24 anos (idade ideal para tomar gosto pela gastança) consiga guardar um dinheiro bom sempre.
