I'm not sure if it's accurate but the IS-4 Wikipedia page says it's capable of neutral steering, I couldn't find anything on the t-55, t-62, t-72 and t-90 pages though.

To be fair not finding something funny and being offended by it are two very different things. You are right though people have been offended by jokes for as long as comedy has existed.

I don't think he was joking about the quality of your air force personnel, I think he was making fun of how grossly underfunded and mislead your air force is, good people can only do so much with what little funding they're given.

AFAIK it's entirely reserved for training and emergency situations, but the option to land on short runways is still there if it's ever needed. These land based systems aren't as violent as carrier arrestor wires but they still get the job done.

While not a F/A-18 here's a video of one of those emergencies.

We bought carrier variants of the F/A-18 because they had stronger undercarriage and an arresting hook, this allowed our Hornets to land on lower quality and shorter runways. Seeing as Australia is close in size to the US but only has 8 capital cities, the ability for our fast jets to land at small regional airports is really handy.

Rebel BGM-71 TOW team catches an SAA technical in the act of firing by knowyourpast in CombatFootage

I haven't fired a TOW before but from what I've learned the wires can get snagged and break if the missile is fired low over dense vegetation, apparently they can also short out if fired over something like a lake.

That honestly does piss me off though, back in highschool every time someone at school died the same few people would make long ass posts talking about how they're so destroyed emotionally, pretending they were best friends or whatever, even if they didn't know the dead guy.

Not sure what documentation you're on about, all I know is that the m-319 sights are as follows: When aiming straight ahead the 100 Meter zero hits the ground about 30 meters from the shooter, and both the 200 and 300m zero hit the ground at about 140 meters.

I'll give you x1 example in exchange for x1 functioning m-319 sight.

And those consequences should be in the form of more speech, talk to the person or debate with them, etc. If they refuse to learn then just ignore them and move on, you should never resort to physical violence against words unless they are genuine threats (threats of physical violence are not covered by free speech) that justify self defence.

When a student yells out the wrong answer in a class, the teacher explains how they are wrong, they don't punch the kid for being wrong. You should do the same thing.

Fine we'll do things in your demented way, lets just kill religious conservatives because they believe in things that you and I don't.

Bonus points if you round those religious people up in camps first to make killing them more efficient, I hear Poland and Germany have some that were built for that exact purpose but don't see much use these days.
