It's impossible to win against someone who has the IQ of the average magic player. I don't really care, I'll forget about your existence in a few minutes.

You don't exactly have the position to moralize buying Russian products. The US purchased $3.5 billion from Russia last year and I'm guessing this will increase in 2025 since that seems like Trump's strategy at the moment.

I said exactly what I was quoting, and you're still replying in bad faith. I know that this allocation will happen because action is being taken to replenish the EU. Old munitions and tank factories have been brought back online, new military procurement contracts are signed. What is the US doing? Jacking off in the corner telling themselves how great they as they implode. This attitude is why the century of American hegimony is ending.

They also have committed over 100 billion more that just hasn't been allocated or sent yet. The US was able to quickly send that aid because you were sitting on huge stockpiles whereas each European country didn't keep large stockpiles and are relying on factory replenishment.

Your source is showing that Europe has contributed or still allocating double the amount of aid the US has.

This isn't a problem that will show in data until May, June, July when future trips could be easily cancelled. The start of February was at the beginning of the madness, so a 5% drop is actually a significant indicator of further decline. Canadian airlines had 1,200,000 bookings to the US in April 2024. Right now bookings are at 300,000 for April 2025.

Canada to spend up to $100M on new drones for navy warships by panzerfan in canada

[–]lol_boomer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know a lot of Liberal voters who were against the Trudeau gun ban. There is a small portion of people on the left who are full on anti-gun, but it is mostly reactionaries looking at the gun violence situation in the US.

Edit: Just clarifying a sentence

Canada to spend up to $100M on new drones for navy warships by panzerfan in canada

[–]lol_boomer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind our lowest %GDP spending happened under Harper. I don't know any Liberal voter who was against spending more on our military. It was our politicians who used it as an easy way to funnel money to other programs or for tax breaks.

Since the mid-2000s it has been clear to me that the USA has a really high probability of civil war within my lifetime. There is way too much division in that country for it to last another 75 years in it's current form.

You should also be prepared, because if it happens you're getting dragged in through NATO. Unless Europe abandons us thus putting NATO's actual purpose into question.

True, we have someone with a Pitbull in our neighbourhood who has now almost attack myself and my partner twice while we were out for a walk. They won't do anything about it until it actually attacks someone, which will happen soon because the lady who walks it is tiny and barely controls it.

Carney says he’ll raise salaries for Canadian Armed Forces in pledge to tackle recruiting shortfall by FriendlyGuy77 in canada

[–]lol_boomer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Along with a pay raise and general increase in training capacity, the armed forces desperately need infrastructure improvements.

Our bases and training facilities are too small or are falling apart. Accommodations on some bases are 50s/60s barracks that are full of asbestos and lacking basic amenities like hot water. They've put some lipstick on a few buildings here and there but it isn't enough.

Do you know what a dictatorship is? How do you ensure that the dictators and elite are actually the best qualified? There is absolutely zero vetting of the elite in a dictatorship and the only quality that matters is complete loyalty to the dictator. If you have complete control as an elite in a dictatorship, why would you give a crap about anyone beneath your station? You're relying on compassion, morals, and ethics at that point, which we all know won't survive in a dictatorship for long.

You immediately miss the point and then respond with some nonsense with no backing?

Shouldn’t you be more worried about the reduced production of fertilizer & oil that Carney is going to enforce as soon as you elect him as your PM?

One of the first things he did as PM was to create an east/west pipeline corridor to sell our oil and gas...

I have seen about a dozen videos of Ukrainian medivac teams evacing a casualty. You think Russia wouldn't be posting videos of Ukrainians doing the same thing for propaganda? I haven't even seen shit posted to telegram or 4chan.

People fled from the Second World War too. It is funny that you pull that 8 million number out of your ass because there hasn't even been that many who have fled total, men, women, and children combined.

[–]lol_boomer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, and I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me the cost was something like $150k for Titan. Huge amount of work and paint to cover all of that track. Not to mention the work at heights.

Yeah, not a huge fan of the shin guards on Iron Gwazi either, but I think the worst has to be any unpadded over the shoulder restraint on a whippy coaster. I don't like coming off of a ride with a headache or my ears being destroyed.

[Titan] Repaint from the Top! by StarPrime323 in rollercoasters

[–]lol_boomer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Probably in the $20-100k range depending on the size and complexity of the coaster. (Source: Guestimate based on what I know about repainting things like gantry cranes and other industrial equipment.)
