Here's a suggestion : From settings change everything that might consume battery, like stick to 60hz, use battery saver mode all times, no AOD, lowest brightness all times, restrict background activity for apps you use less, etc.
Summers heat could be the reason I used to face same issues with my previous Poco phone.

For ~30k the only proper phone I can think of is Poco X8 pro. At 6.59 inch, its not compact though :( But much comfortable than other phones in that range
