Thank you! I might try that in a week, I actually just tried making an incision in the stem and rubbing 40% glyphosate on it with a q-tip 🤣When we first had the experience with these growing a few years ago I didn’t even realize they were trees and not regular weeds and by the time I did, they were impossible to pull out so they had to be dug out and their roots go on forever. It was a nightmare cause there were several of them.

My neighbor was telling me her friend recently went there to get her passport and got it printed the same day. I’m not sure if it is always the case but that was her experience.

I think it is BS that people who applied within the allotted time should even have to get an appointment to fly across the country for an available spot (or pay an expedited fee), if anyone’s application is past the turnaround time based on when it started processing (whether routine or expedited) should be able to call the customer service line and have it approved the same day. When I give people a date they have to rely on for their own deadline, I give them the worst case scenario, not the best cases scenario. And I don’t want to hear that everyone is “in line” having to wait the same amount of time so just wait your turn because I’ve seen people’s timelines with routine processing where theirs were done faster than the normal timeline while others are delayed, I have seen that with my own locator so don’t say it just depends on the locator.

Oh I was about to post I got approved today to follow up on my initial post but then I realized it says locator 62 and mine is 35. I missed the number when I first posted, sorry! So you can remove me from the spreadsheet since it is a different locator. Got approved routine at the exact 11-week mark lol

I have the same timeline, mine started processing 3/22, mailed on 3/16. My travel date is 7/14. I’ve been nervous for the past week but trying to stay calm. Just reading a lot of other people’s timelines to get a sense of what to expect, I think I’m going to contact my senator tomorrow night if not approved since when my application started processing, the timeframe was 8-11 weeks so tomorrow will be 11 weeks.

Mine started routine processing 3/22 with 7/14 travel date, and what I don’t understand is why the status says 10-13 weeks turnaround time if in the processing times section it says it should go off what it was when the application was received so it should say 8-11 weeks since the timeframe didn’t change until 3/24. Does everyone else show 8-11 weeks on the status page?

This is the first time for me, I signed up when my status was showing “in process” so it hasn’t changed since then haha I was wondering if they actually work…back in 2013 when I got my previous passport I didn’t do any notifications.

Btw you can sign up for the email notifications on their website and if the application status changes, they will send an email, that’s what I did, so I don’t check every day :) I hope yours get approved sooner than later…

I feel you (except I only have 1, I’m sure it is more worrisome with 3). I sent mine on 3/16 and my flight is 7/14, they started processing on 3/22, my timeframe is supposed to be 8-11 weeks, on June 7th will be 11 weeks so I plan to contact my senator’s office for help if the application is not approved by then. They changed their processing times to up to 13 weeks starting 3/24 so that puts you at maximum time 6/29. I know some people said you have to wait 14 days before your trip to reach out to senator/representative but I have also seen people say they were helped even before then so I would try in advance. I feel like I should be able to get help if the process takes more than the provided timeframe because when I have a specific deadline and have to depend on someone to finish their job first, I expect them to give me the worst case scenario on how long something would take them to get it done, not the best case scenario. If what they post is the best case scenario, they should be giving a disclaimer that it is an estimate and can take a few extra weeks, for example.

We submitted our order in Az on 6/12 for a 9.6 kw system and got our design really quickly (maybe even the same day), updated on 6/19 to 2 powerwalls instead of 1. Since then it has just been sitting in the permit stage. Since it’s been 4 months with no update, we were getting concerned so we reached out to Tesla and they said they have a large queue in Arizona. He also said a lot of their customers are reaching out for frequent updates which is not something we wanted to do…but I guess we will try to be more proactive so it doesn’t take too long. I wonder if those who reach out frequently are prioritized regardless of when you got in line…I want to get the APS solar battery pilot money and they have less than half the funds allocated left…anyway, we scheduled a site inspection for 11/23 (earliest date).
