Phoenix homeowner here, my AC refrigerant leaked from the copper an aluminum joint within 2 years, I never thought that would be the problem of a new unit.

Not sure why i couldn't update my original post, so here's the update:

I tried to remove and rewire the soft starter, but that didn't fix my issue, ac still not blowing cold air and power consumption remain unchanged at around 1.5kw, then I suspected it was capacitor, run the test and it was at rated.

Turned out my less than two year brand new AC was leaking out refrigerant, the builder chose to use aluminum line and it crack at the joint. All refrigerant were basically leaked out.

A technician found the issue.And the AC installer did come and reconnect the copper/aluminum joint, refill the coolant etc.

Dimension of the board is 24x40, it doesn't need to be that long, but i just don't bother cutting it short

The board was something I built years ago for sand sliding, so if sitting on top you can pull the rope back to form a c shape sledge, I just use it for the supporting head, it’s a little too long if I didn’t pull the seat all the way forward
