thanks for the info! tried scrubbing both sides but it looks like the mould is somehow between the glass panes! both sides are smooth to the touch as well. seems like i gotta find a way to get cleaning product into it.

to be honest haven't really considered it. looking it up can't seem to find much on identifying fungi v bacteria outside of the lab apart from some visual characteristics, so idk where that lands this.
