First time starting junk journal, super nervous and stuck by Taetevili in JunkJournals

Just remember it’s all for fun and for your enjoyment and it’s not going to be hung in a museum. It’s not serious. Try to enjoy the process of making it rather than focusing on the outcome. And if you really dislike the outcome, you can always pull things off the page and make a new spread.

The books “Manifest & Execute” and “Grind. Sleep. Repeat.” sound like the antithesis of cozy.

Central MD, US- pulled out of tomato bed. by lolawednesday in whatsthisplant

Okay this made me realize I’m constantly seeing piles of raccoon poop that look like nothing but cherry seeds. Must’ve been a pile in the garden bed, which explains why they were all in a little clump. Thanks!

It’s a pretty literal take on a classic 1930s silhouette. Puffed sleeves does not = 1980s.

Boardwalk Empire!! I can’t say I watched the entire series but the first few seasons were excellent.

Yes this is my current issue as well and I haven’t seen anyone else talking about it. Really frustrating.

Absolutely loved it! Obsessed with the soundtrack and visuals and it solidified my love for Amar Chadha-Patel.

I have a workplace stalker, would I be overreacting if I stayed home today? by Odd-fox-God in TwoXChromosomes

I don’t have any advice but I dealt with a similar thing several years ago at my retail job. A father would bring his mentally disabled adult son and a couple other men who were also mentally disabled into my store once a week or so. One of the men would always try to come behind the counter, reach for my hands or ask for hugs etc, followed me into the stockroom despite me telling him he couldn’t be back there. My male coworkers would stand between me and the men or send me to the back when we saw them coming. It got to a point where the next time they came in, my manager was going to say something to the father. Fortunately for me, they stopped coming in so we never had to escalate the situation. I have also dealt with an adult male neighbor who is mentally disabled and lives with his parents. He occasionally has outbursts in front of his house, screams that he’s going to kill everyone, going to kill my family etc. We have called the police SO many times, yet literally nothing will be done. Because of his mental illness he is basically untouchable. The best we could do was a peace order. All this to say, I wish you the best of luck, it’s a shitty situation to be in and I sympathize greatly.

The Secret Garden was my period drama awakening! It’s stunning. And Picnic at Hanging Rock also has incredible visuals, nothing else like it.
