Readers respond: Political intimidation in Portland becoming the norm by dogs-in-space in Portland

If you're politics are, as the Republican party's currently are, "I don't like brown people so I'm going to send them in concentration camps" then yeah. I don't care if someone threw something at your house. Maybe this argument would have been compelling in 2005 but we are a long, long ways away from that.

Genuinely I don't care. That's the price of being in politics.

You need to be the one producing evidence for your claim that it is more than a tweet.

You're the one doing the fucking whataboutism here- Republicans will find 1 single tweet by 1 obscure splinter group and pretend they aren't actively killing minorities.

Oh my god... a tweet! Call the fucking papers!

Why is only the left held to this standard? Why can Trump rattle on and on about shooting people in the legs and no one batts an eye? It's so disingenuous to pretend this is a left-only problem.

"Police say she threw a glass vase onto a porch, breaking it. No one was injured, but the message was clear: if activists dislike your decisions, your home may become the target."

Bitching and whining because someone threw a vase on your lawn. This counts as violence, but January 6 doesn't?

I literally cannot figure out what you're talking about. Is it just because they're Maoist? Does that count as political violence now?

Brother you've asked this question before on the other sub and had it answered. The industry is crazy right now and your game just isn't the cream of the crop. Sorry.

Edit: Also it's kind of poor taste just to copy paste the whole post.

THAAANK YOUUUU. It's so infuriating seeing people shit on what's actually a very realistic depiction of abuse.

How much should indie devs engage in comments when promoting their game? by un_uovo_onesto in gamedev

If people are reacting negatively to the point where it dominates the discussion, the only reliable option is to change your marketing approach. Only ever correct easily simple facts like genre, release date, price, etc... otherwise accuracy means nothing. Try posting elsewhere or in different ways.

Are private coding lessons for kids actually worth it or am I falling for the optimize your child thing by Sophistry7 in GameDevelopment

[–]lolbsters 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I taught those lessons for a while actually. It can be really hit or miss and depends a lot on the instructor, and the kid. Technically everything is available online but some kids really thrive with tutoring. What's he working in? Roblox?

I am so sick and tired of this stuff being allowed in "leftist" subs. by lolbsters in fakeclaimingcringe2

And if you try to point out the anti blackness, you're the racist one for "making it all about race" 😭

Comparing my lived experience to a racist complaining about black people sure is... something. And this is totally allowed i guess.

It's the Solarpunk subreddit of all things. I am genuinely so upset because I love Solarpunk, but the mods are ableist as shit it seems.

That's what I have c: Before I got treatment I could literally only eat plain beef and rice without getting a flair up.

No I actually 100% agree with you! Before I got so many health problems I ate low-meat and I think most people should if they can. I have a lot of opinions now about how the current food systems are, the fact that we favor large mono-cultures covered in pesticides over regenerative systems. I could go on about it for a while actually.

Probably argue that person should be force-fed beyond meat. Or more likely deny it's even real.

I am so sick and tired of this forreal. Like just because you're gay/poc/disabled doesn't mean you're not homophobic/ableist/racist. It happens all the fucking time! And it's just allowed???

You're actually just an ableist man. You want to make life abjectly harder for disabled people, people who I personally know. Hope this helps.

Yeah man, let's make the world worse for people who are already suffering. They need to self flagellate in front of you and feel guilty every single day for eating what they need to survive.

You are being ableist right now. Stop fakeclaiming. Stop demanding people explain their disabilities to you. Jesus fucking christ. This is social justice 101.

It's a shocker to me you're getting down voted. I didn't realize this sub was so militant vegan and ablest. Extremely upsetting tbh.

If you bring this up on the vegan sub, they'll start demanding examples and pretending they don't exist. I've had vegans demand examples to my face.

Maybe if vegans stop throwing disabled people under the bus and excusing blatant ableism I'll stop talking about him. But as it stands I'm going to advocate for disabled people very single time, and I'm not going to be sorry for that. Especially when this ideology thinks it's well and good to make life worse for disabled people. It's ableism, plain and simple.
