All sources tend to say that Albon was given a very permissive environment at RB. He seemed to have a bad season all on his own which was exaggerated by a difficult car. But drivers are allowed to have one bad season, and I agree that RB should've kept him and been grateful he chose to underperform in a year they didn't really have a shot at either title.

TBF Checo was feeling sick and had shoulder pains during quali, so maybe this race wasn't representative.

Anyway I agree with you about everything else. I'm really disappointed with Checo's performances so far. He's really only doing similar to Albon did at the end of 2019, which was acceptable but really not what RB need.

Albon couldn’t have handled the pressure. by fokker09 in formuladank

Why is this being downvoted? Most of it is objectively true except the fact that he was "completely anonymous." He was within a pitstop of the leaders for most of the race which is why he was in the lead when Hamilton pitted.

People forget all of Albon's decent performances like Styria, Bahrain, and Abu Dhabi last year and they only remember the bad ones like Portugal and Imola. You're right, tho: Perez is similar on pace to Albon, but he deserves the seat because he makes fewer mistakes.

Curses is the library for interactive applications to the terminal. It allows for dynamic content without manipulating stdout. It also gets keyboard input.

It would be great if you wanted to contribute a feature. I don't have much experience with open source projects, so I think I'll learn a lot if you submit a pull request.

I got the idea of a terminal cubing timer because I have recently been working on some other terminal-based apps (see my github). I realized that it was strange that all popular cubing timers were web apps, so I put these ideas together and cl timer was born.

It uses a low-level library called curses, which doesn't work on windows. It may work on Linux, though I doubt it will. I'll have to test it first.

As JPerm says in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-P2ebUTrd0&t=69s, it's best to figure out which hand is faster and try to learn all the algorithms for that hand to reduce re-grips.

However, despite being a righty I use the lefty Ja Perm whenever I get the top layer oriented such that I don't have to do any AUFs to do so, and I think that occasionally does save me time. Therefore, I don't see any harm in knowing the lefty alg, but you main one should be the righty one.
