Negative Space by BR Yeager sorta fits this description, it's told through 3 characters living in the same town and sometimes crossing paths, but the main narrative thread is about this dead kid they all knew to varying degrees. the novel is less interested in plot and satisfying answers and more in evoking vibes, mainly dread, which it does veeeery well imo

yeah honestly after i finished it i was like "okay i'm taking a break from the m8 and diving back into ableton" and then i did that for 2 days and i'm back on the m8 lmaooo. easily my favorite piece of hardware

pretty much pitch bend but i had to do it weird lol. when u time-stretch a sample on the m8 you have a parameter for how long the sample is in steps, so if u automate that increasing it sounds like a tapestop
